I just like that all these so called experts keep ignoring the fact that these events are rare, and it is actually rare for women to be attacked and killed. They make it seem like women are always in danger, and that women are just being attacked and killed all the time. The reality is that over 80% of all murder victims are men, and over 90% of all victims of violence are men. The numbers are not even close. Women are victims of violence at a fraction of men. Men are more likely to be assaulted, abducted, killed etc. Not to mention, domestic violence research show that mean are just as likely as women to be a victim. I would bet men are actually victims of domestic violence at a much higher rate, because those numbers only count domestic violence events between partners, but there is no doubt more men are victims of domestic violence from family members and friends. Domestic violence is actually violent crimes involving family, close friends, partners etc, but because they have a narrative to push they only count events involving partners, but even that is now showing it is basically 50/50. They need to start being factual, because men are victims of violence at a much higher rate than women.

The killer after 4 murders probably did not register the cracked door or a person behind and took a right turn to out thru the sliding door. She saw him but he did not see her. Or else she would have been dead too.

Yes very odd. The girls could all have had their boyfriends in their rooms. There could have been friends crashing on the couch. The killer could have been seriously outnumbered, with or without a knife, he could have been overpowered.

She did say she heard crying. That's when she opened the door a third time, and saw him. At that point, who knows. She was in shock... and/or rationalized to herself that it was just another weird guy leaving the house. We don't know what went through her mind.

@@samanthaemm3854 when you read about him it makes more and more sense and seems very probable...he was tormented by desire for these girls, and may have been 'rejected' by them (or thought he was, since he sent them text messages that they probably never saw since they apparently went to their spam folder on Instagram, and POSSIBLY even in person at a bar or a party, etc.). So....extreme obsession, anger becoming jealous rage, a feeling of being 'slighted.' Especially if (as he appears to be) he is not only extremely socially awkward, but highly intelligent and a narcissist. Plus he may have had some REALLY sick thrill in murdering a person, as serial killers self-describe. He is probably enjoying all the attention. These kinds of murders are not uncommon, they are usually committed by men, but also by women. Crimes of passion, basically.

Some of the victims may have screamed, and the two surviving roommates may have heard it.. Since the PCA didn't include that info, nobody knows except the two survivors..

Why do you keep focusing on the roommates as if they were involved with this? We weren't there and we don't even know how insulated their residence is, if they were intoxicated, if they had ear plugs in or other back ground noises, if they were frozen in shock or fear and were just trying to convince themselves it was a bad dream or any other number of variables.

From everything I have read - he went upstairs, firstly, M was hurt firstly n then K, she allegedly had defensive wounds. Appears to have put Murphy in K old room. X n E were in her room. D hears a female say "Someone is here" possibly X as she was awake on her phone & had just accepted a door dash order, though pics show it was still on the kitchen bench.. its thought, E got up to investigate, BK then scuffled with E in hall/doorway, he staggered back into room behind door. BK followed into the room where X was. My q is - who calls an early morning feed n then leaves it in the kitchen (pics clearly show XANA Label on Jack in the Box pkt) Was it her that ordered it or a ruse to cover sound of sliding door opening..

Why do people automatically assume there is screaming? People tend to freeze during these situations, and if it happened quickly, there may not have been any indication. Screaming seems like something that would have been more obvious to something going on, and the neighbors also didn’t report hearing anything… I don’t think it’s that odd that people didn’t scream.

@@slideshowgurl The reason is because it's natural to scream out for help or say stuff out of fear. You don't necessarily have to scream bloody murder but in most cases a volley of colorful words will come out in a loud manner. If someone came to attack me then I would definitely be shouting things to draw attention and obviously just out of fear as well. Never heard of a scuffle taking place while not a single sound is made.

It shocks me how many people think that everybody screams while fighting for their life. Most people don't scream while they're fighting an intruder. Out of all the homicide cases I've worked, only a small handful of the victims were screaming during the physical fight. There tends to be some screaming while trying to get away, and there tends to be a lot of screaming while watching somebody else be murdered, but there's not much screaming in the heat of hand-to-hand combat.

Well obviously they didn’t arrest him for staring at people. They arrested him because his DNA was at a quadruple homicide.

Notwithstanding who he was staring at or not staring at, I hate to break it to you, but his DNA was allegedly found at the crime scene. There is no established proof that he was present at the crime scene. All they found was a knife sheath at the crime scene that they allege has his DNA on it. That does not place him at the crime scene. It places a knife holder at the crime scene, which is why it is completely circumstantial and will be so unless or until they can place Bryan at the crime scene. This is the kind of armchair lawyering I am talking about. You people have NO understanding of the rules of criminal procedure or rules of evidence, its weight, or its place in the construction of an indictment, you just assume he must be guilty because they found a knife sheath at the scene that had his DNA on it. And no, they did not arrest him because of the knife sheath. They arrested him because a preponderance of a collection of evidence has shown a likelihood of him being connected to the crime exists, the presence of his DNA being ONE facet of the indictment. If you are going to play the game, learn the rules. Please don't condemn this man because the evidence thus far has amounted to an arrest. That is not guilt, and every element of the indictment is going to be challenged at the preliminary hearing in late June. For all we know, every facet of the prosecution's case can be explained away, they will fail to meet their burden, and Bryan will walk because they have no substantive evidence that points to him as the killer. Really convenient that they have focused on ONE suspect in this investigation and completely dismissed the potential that someone or a group of people might have been involved. I don't call that crack police work, I call it lazy and overzealous cops who think they have bagged a collar because a bunch of circumstances tie one dude to a crime. This case is purely circumstantial and may not even amount to a justification for the charges, let alone a guilty verdict. Try and keep an open mind, that is all I am saying. Don't condemn a man free from guilt to a murderer unless or until there has been some movement in the case. Conjecture is fun television, but it amounts to fuck all in the end, and serves to embarass those who would indulge in it rather than follow the rules of the law.

If you saw someone looking at you or appeared to be, it would make you uncomfortable but then you wouldn't think anything of it. Now if you found out that same person murdered someone or a group of people at a later point, then you would say it was super creepy and alarming that the person looked at you. The fact that he is a suspect makes everything he does appear creepy now, that's just how the human mind works.

It doesn't make any sense that one of the surviving roommates had anything to do with this heinous act. BK is a loner and doesn't have the social skills to connect with a female. She has no reason to want her friends killed...I've not heard any reports of animosity between her and the other roommates. She must be experiencing tremendous guilt. I certainly can't explain her actions except that she was traumatized. We will learn more in time but there's no evidence that she was involved in the murders.
