South African Steam: Fauresmith Branch and 25NC 3454 June 1996 

I was born in Jagersfontein and grew up in Koffiefontein. My grandparents lived in Jagersfontein and I took that train on many occasions in the 1970's from Koffiefontein to Jagersfontein to visit my grandparents, it was an amazing trip! As far as I know Fauresmith is the only town in SA where the train runs through the town in SA.

Ahh, yes, I seem to recall it from one of your other clips. The original "Blue Train" livery, Azure Blue and Battleship Grey. Shown to great effect on page 26 & 27 of 'The Great Steam Trek', Lewis & Jorgensen, 1978.
