I've got nothing against vegans but if they're involved in a cult or go around and interrupt someone going hunting legally or fishing legally then you know what that's where I literally draw the line. I like to see them just go to a Native American tribe and tell them they can't hunt or fish I'd like to see how that happens. Also how can they say their son is born a vegan when in fact how does that work I mean they're against dairy product anything like a powdered milk or milk coming from a woman's breast child got to feed somewhere? Plus out of all the things that Randy and Sharon would ever do this is the most irresponsible thing they've ever done why would they leave there kids with these people?

Granted, she’s not a mother yet, but I’ve known vegans that raise their children vegan too, so this is mostly just making fun of the crazy radicals. Most vegans are probably perfectly normal not like their extreme counterparts

My answer either gets ignored or they go on to accuse me of making it up, and that I would have never guessed of they hadn't of told me. Of course I figured it out the instant I tasted it, and suspected the instant I saw it, I'm just not rude. The worst part is, vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and whatever else food can taste good. That's actually a valid point. These days plenty of vegan stuff can be just as fattening as meat or dairy products. Im a massive fan or quorn myself. Touché
I absolutely love South Park, watched every single episode since it started. This episode is the first one that I actually shed a tear while watching. When Larry Fegan sings his "out of my shell" song to Shelly before she invites him to play Catan, I got emotional, it's one of my favorite SP episodes of all time just for those scenes of that kid.
"maybe if your child would eat a steak once in awhile they wouldn't get beat up by the entire School" How exactly is bullying and beating up an innocent kid for not consuming meat "reasonable"? 🤨
@@evanescence3079 It's a little reasonable since a kid who only eats veggies and stuff like that in the cafeteria lacks proteins, fat, and calories to gain strong muscles and energy storage, thus they're an easy target for bullies in school. Poor Larry, he'd be weak to defend himself.
@@RaymondTheSkyfishIncarnate That doesn't mean parents shouldn't educate their children so they wouldn't bully their classmates, bullying is still wrong so this argument against veganism is not a good one to me and I'm saying that as someone who is not even a vegetarian
@Juju Blue Except that's not the point and Raymond is an idiot for even arguing that. The point is Shelly isn't bullying anyone. She's pointing out the fact he's bullied by others due to a decision forced upon by the parents. I can't believe how much some people misunderstand satire.
“Cancer, heart disease, drowning, it’s all preventable with a vegan diet and a life jacket” I have a vegan friend, she isn’t this crazy guys, she loves how South Park gives everyone a stereotype and makes it their whole character trait

People say its a parents job to "guide" their child. But that isnt true, a parents job is to teach their kid to make independant informed decisions. Teach them to think for themselves.
Feeding your kid vegan is a choice you make for them.... So is feeding them beef or pork though. Why wouldn't you put your morals into your children? I mean you shouldn't traumatically force it into them but why wouldn't you teach your own children what you see as right from wrong?
@@vorpalrobot Because that is subjective. For example, some people think it is wrong to be gay or have sex before marriage. It's not correct or incorrect, as not everyone agrees with that mindset. The line between teaching your child morals and grooming them to share your mindset is often blurred.
That’s really sweet, I like people like that 🥰 religious people are bad about this too though. I’m a Christian, and my oldest daughter decided she wasn’t one and I told her I completely respect that and our relationship is still great ❤️ you can’t force stuff on people, especially your kids.

When vegans ask me if the food they serve is just as good as the meat version, it still surprises me that they have completely forgotten how good meat tastes. It's not even close.
Thats why i does not tell meat eaters, that their burger or chilli is vegan. If they Don t know it, they Don t muss it. They are very supprised if they find it out.
@@remembergandhi5583 I could see chili or anything you can spice and sauce the shit out of pulling that off - especially if it's thin. High surface area to volume ratios and accompanying flavors such as you would find on a sandwich patty or chili would help. For example, I have had chicken chili where I probably would not have been able to guess it wasn't beef. But the taste and pleasure of an actual hunk of beef you would find in a thick quality hamburger cannot be replicated without cooked flesh. If you can fool someone into thinking they are eating a chunk beef that is not beef, then they are not accustomed to quality meat such as you could buy from a butcher instead of processed foods. This is even more apparent against better cuts of beef, veal, or lamb. I have eaten a lot of food, but the sensation of biting into a fatty chunk of lamb is so pleasurable that it can nearly bring me to tears. I cannot afford fine as fine cuts as I used to get. When I eat a quality cut of beef or lamb, the sensation is unlike all other foods. Vegetarian dishes can be tasty. But always dissimilar to quality meat in both taste and pleasure. Cooked animal flesh has no identical twin in vegetable cooking. My opinion is that anyone who goes long enough without eating meat has their palette changed by eating foods that are frankly more boring. Much the way that people who cut out salt, fat, and sugar from their diet for months at a time will soon find ordinary produce to taste more delicious and flavorful then anything used to for them. I find it shocking how highly vegans praise the boring food they share with me. The fact that sometimes people eat a veggie dish that they couldn't guess wasn't meat is great; they are eating food they enjoy. That being said, vegetarian dishes are not like meat, and do not actually taste like meat.

@@Nicolae_Mew That's not really what my comment was implying. You have to agree with the principles first. Better, you have to know what "principles" we are talking about. Saying "lots of non-vega admit (...)" doesn't mean much. How many is "lots"? 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%? And do they really think those principles hold up or are they just being polite/hypocrite about it? Take the "ethical" argument for example. The ethical argument is "you shouldn't kill animals because they are people to and we can live without consuming meat". I mean, fair enough, animals are indeed people, they have their thoughts, they are sentients, they are in most ways pretty much like us... But why would you think that I'm against killing? See what I mean? People are going to argue about those things without even checking if we agree on the principles. Sayin' "vegan is rock solid" is not more valid that sayin' "destroying the earth is rock solid". It all depends on what people want, desire, want they think is good for them and others. Researchers have found that appropriately planned vegetarian, including vegan, diets are healthful, nutritionally adequate, and may provide health benefits for the prevention and treatment of certain diseases. Researchers have found that these diets are appropriate for all stages of the life cycle, including pregnancy, lactation, infancy, childhood, adolescence, older adulthood, and for athletes. Researchers have found plant-based diets are more environmentally sustainable than diets rich in animal products because they use fewer natural resources and are associated with much less environmental damage. Researchers have found vegetarians and vegans are at reduced risk of certain health conditions, including ischemic heart disease, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, certain types of cancer, and obesity. Researchers have found low intake of saturated fat and high intakes of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes, soy products, nuts, and seeds (all rich in fiber and phytochemicals) are characteristics of vegetarian and vegan diets that produce lower total and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels and better serum glucose control. Researchers have found these factors contribute to reduction of chronic disease.
