fished loch langabhat from the boat...east benbecula
thee most golden trout I have ever seen. best flies where a hares ear muddler size 10 and a blue Zulu size 10. wind was around 15mph and bright sunshine all day. fishing was difficult with bursts of fish appearing throughout the day
dun mor-wind was 30mph and a good overcast with showers. wind blowing SW. fishing was amazing here despite the weather. casting to the boulders and islands and weed beds. best flies were again, hares ear muddler a blue Zulu and an orange gorgeous George

Another brilliant video Paul, some markings on those fish. Beautiful things. Could feel yer pain sitting on that ferry homeward bound 😂 You never want it to end sometimes.

What’s your dates for next year mate , I’ve been going to uist for 30 yrs and I’ll show where to get big troot on Benbecula and south uist and the flees to use lol. Never met stevie but always on fb offering his help and expertise, have you thought about a trip in August or September for the sea troot and salmon it’s another level but worth it if the fish are in. Give me a shout if you fancy meeting next time .

@@charlesbuist4433 I was there in September last year and had some thumping sea trout. Was amazing. I'm back again this year in sept and then again next year in June again. I love the island. Caught some lumps in it last year and again last week that I didn't let reach FB for obvious reasons. Stevie is a good friend of mine and knows exactly where to go, but that sounds ideal to me pal.
