Massive respect to you AB in giving the elderly lady, dignity & compassion, even though you were entitled to argue your right to film in a public place. Your mannerism and politeness shown was outstanding. A man amongst men. If only there were more people like you in this world. It would be a better place to be.
AB has revealed a chink in his armor. The police now know the next time AB shows up to perform an audit on a police station, they just need to send out the ol' tea lady to deal with him.
She was so sweet! Someone who lives close by should bring her a bouquet of flowers. She was so sweet & would've told AB a bit about the history. But the Karens wouldn'tet her.

What a gentleman .. nice one AB. That old lady was adorable and so welcoming and helpful, I totally would've folded too. Museums & galleries, especially when they're publicly funded, are specifically there for people to see .. the jobsworths have totally done a disservice to their communities by trying to stop recording. The old lady had completely the right attitude - perhaps she should be in charge with her experience and grace. Well handled AB .. pure class as always.
and if people get a taste of the museum they might be curious to go and see. I was. Isn't that the whole effing point of a museum, for people to see the things that the PUBLIC own and the PUBLIC authorities have used tax payers money to show off in a PUBLIC building?

What a big difference when it comes to service, first of all you have a council jobs worth trying to assert his authority on to people. Then you go into another building and you are greeted by a lovely lady who no doubt is a volunteer and treated a whole lot better.
Nothin wrong with having a heart in this circumstance in my opinion and I am one who almost NEVER is ok when someone backs down when right. You made your point clear with the people that mattered. She is doing the best she can with what information and training she has been provided.
What a sweet old lady, she seemed pleased you were there looking around whether you were filming or not and then looked disappointed you were told to stop and left but you were a proper gentleman to her thank you for another great video ❤

Southend-on-sea council charge a small FORTUNE for filming on their property. You also need to apply a minimum of 5 working days beforehand. However, from the council's own website: Fees do not apply to individuals filming for their own personal use.
@@imhemaster It is personal use. AB is not under any contract to product the video for someone, he makes it on his own free choice. Money from RU-vid is for allowing adverts to appear on any video on his channel. No advertiser is sponsoring or asking for a particular video to be made as a condition of the payment. He will need to declare his earning from RU-vid as part of his self-assessment, but the money earned has no bearing on being a business.
I went to a Lusitania museum in Ireland in 2015 for the centenary of the sinking in 1915. A lady told me that i couldn't take pictures but when the person who came with me told them that a relative of mine had died on the ship, i was treated like royalty and told i could take as many photos as i liked!!

The nice, beautiful, history filled lady was absolutely wonderful! I think the back part of the museum was her favorite! Loved the wonderful way you gave her respect! ❤️

I don't know how rules are for public servants, but I would have tipped her. That's what you do when you get good service. In this case, tipping her and not the others, could have been a way to show what attitude is prefered. Customer service, when it is good customer service, is something to value.

14:30 You would think a dusty old museum with no one in it would welcome the publicity of people posting pictures and video. It might be their rule but it makes no sense.
AB please never even consider becoming a curator at a museum, that has to be the quickest tour of a museum in the history of museum tours,😂🤣 My favourite bit was at the end when you were on the beach and you looked at the other girl and said “ no not that one” that was a proper Borat moment 😂🤣
That lady was a credit she didn't mind one bit she was so pleased you were there to look at the museum how gracious you were to her my full respect to her needs the older generation to show these whipper snappers a thing are too pity the snow flake followed like a sheep asking you not to film but you can take pictures unbelievable this didn't make any sense The bully officers at it again embarrassing themselves looking like a pair of clowns great work AB always the ultimate professional 👍

I think she enjoys the museum, and I think the others kind of hate it. If you enjoy something, the first thing you want to do is to show it to everyone interested. And he was the only customer that day.
That freeze-frame of the guy on the bike was cool af... you should do more of them.... It's weird that they don't want anyone to film, I don't know about other people, but it makes me wanna visit a place when I am made aware of it... For example, that museum looked cool.
