If there is no male or female then why isn’t humanity self procreating without partners? You see that part was speaking figuratively to say that God sees all the same. It doesn’t mean that the gender or races are abolished. This means men and women have equal standing in God but are created unique to fulfill different tasks/needs within the church.

It is not the system The Father set up for the new covenant. Any resemblance to a literal temple ended in 70 ad. There were no "churches" after 70 ad. It was mobile living with each individual. People met in homes and it was not relegated to ceremonial organizations. That came later thru Rome. We all possess the ability to be all things but have better abilities by certain strengths of the spirit. If the Father lives in us then he gives us all his gifts. Some 100%, some 60, some 30. Just because Paul said it doesn't make it true. He never even heard Jesus preach and he warned about people saying he was in the desert or in the secret rooms and not to believe them. Paul himself said he lied to win people over. His writings must be confirmed by other witnesses and many of them never were. God gave us his spirit to rightly divide the truth from lies. I John 2:27. We are to depend on him alone when it comes to wisdom and understanding of the scripture (logos).

I dont say that to be disrespectful, but to defend this single action of the SBC. God set up 3 governments and told us who has authority in each case and the boundries of there authority. God appointed Men to govern the family, He apointed a plurality of men as elders over church governance, and because man wanted to be ruled by a human king he gave us Governments which he didnt deam would always be led by a man. ( i.e. Deborah as judge, governess) He reserved all authority in heaven and earth for himself. He gave Government limited authority over the people they governed and said we would not like it as they would be self interested and harsh over the people. He gave Elders limited authority over the flocks as it pertained to teaching, preaching and church business. (i.e. Men. Marium was a prophetess not a teacher) He gave the husband limited authority in the home to govern the household, under the scope of scripture. But each of those positions also come with accountability and each will stand befire God and be held to account for how they used there authority. God himself created the family and put the Man in authority over his wife in Genisis 3:16. It would be some kind of kung fu to then revers those roles as it pertains to the church and teaching the Wors of God. Would God really give the husband authority over his wife and family then reverse that role in the church? That would be contradictory. Paul emphasis God's hierarchy and explains again the reason God put husbands in authority of there wives in the family 1 Tim. 2:11-15 and Men over women in the church. Men and women are equal in Gods economy but have differnt roles and differnt authority. 1 Corinthians 11:7 Its a fantastic subject to research. I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO LOOK AT IT. Here Paul tells us God's command to Husbands toward there wives. Sacrificial love not lording over them. Ephesians 5:25-33 And wives to Husbands in Ephesians 5: 22-24 Even in Christian circles there are differnt takes on these positions. I would encourage anyone wanting to understand it start with the more strict consrvitive views before studying the more liberal views as its easier to see what God's stated purpose was for each role. If you look at it from the liberal view point first it can bias the study. I could be wrong but since the stricter clasical tradition was mutually excepted for 2000 years I think its only appropriate to start there before moving to the contemporary traditions that have a liberal and dare I say knostic view on this subject.
