I have heard a lot of great things about southern Indiana. Low crime very conservative people. Sounds like God’s country to me.

@@katieskeen I'm kinda partial to Harrison County, of course, but within that I'd say it would be the Harrison-Crawford State Forestry. I have quite a few generations of family who was born and lived there in what used to be the old Scott Township before the state started buying out the area and planting trees creating the forest that it is today. I have spent spent a lot of time there wandering throughout those wonderful hills. Indian Creek and Blue River are absolutely beautiful! Hayswood Park is a great place, easily accessible, for families to go check out although the playground is currently being redone. I've seen a lot of wildlife along the Indian Creek Trail.

Whether its Louisville, Indiana--or Cincinnati, Kentucky---or even Memphis, Arkansas---I always thought it would be cool to live in the suburbs of one state, and commute to work in the next! Or vice versa. Live in the city of one state and commute across the river to work in the suburbs!

It would be nice to have one foot in each door. Enjoy the pros of both places. However, the only con is the commute and paying tolls going back and forth from work. Thanks for watching! :)

Best is living in southern washington where there is no state income tax and driving to northern oregon to buy things where there is no sales tax

Back in the late 1980's (when my beloved late wife & I were newlyweds) we looked on both sides of the river. (My stepson's dad lived in Clarksville, we were Kentuckians). We ended up buying a nice little 1950's ranch style house in "Old Clarksville". The housing $$ went WAY further than in Louisville. We were very happy, until the house next door got rented to the NEIGHBORS FROM HELL! Vandalism, trash, BLASTING audio at all hours. We were lucky to get away (with a slight profit) after 10 years of living there (3 with the horrible neighbors). Nowadays, the asinine bridge tolls NEGATE any reason to live in S. Indiana, unless the majority of your "life" is there. The 2nd street bridge is still (RIGHTFULLY) free, but can get VERY crowded at times! The Kennedy bridge (I-65 South) was PAID OFF 60+ YEARS AGO, BUT THEY STARTED CHARGING TOLLS!!! BASTARDS!

Southern indiana is nice. People respect one another and drive safe. But for a single man there are no bars and the women are stuck up

If you live in Kentucky and work in Indiana, are you paying Indiana state income taxes? Because that is where your money is being earned.

Great question! Definitely check with your tax professional, but my under standing is you pay state income tax on that income to your state of residence.

At 11:22- "If you have a really, organic, all natural diet, there's not gonna be a lot of grocery stores for you to shop in." That's because the NORMAL PEOPLE that live in southern Indiana aren't IDIOTS that PISS AWAY their grocery $$ on such nonsense!!!
