I wish whom ever edit the video could have got all of what Mr haymer said because some people thinking that he's being arrogant. If that's the case, su can not only talk the talk but can walk the walk as well. Just the way the video came in it seems misleading and I do recall that the band director at talladega ( Mr bonds) did state in a video that he was going to take a song from each school...... If you're in a group on facebook called " the real hbcu uncut" then you seen that video Mr bonds posted..... And that's why Mr haymer said what he said.

As I stated in one of my other comments....I commend Talladega...they have alot of heart and pride...The Only Band with enough guts to press on to Washington D.C. for the presidential inaugural parade and represent our band style and our people on national TV!...With the donations they received , they have enough to start a football program... with a schedule !!! I think it was really low for a grown Band Director to insult these students...I guess that S could stand for "supposedly" grown....or just "Stupid". Go "Dega" !!!
And you talking about what Talladega did it should have told you something when white bands and white singers wouldn't perform for him and they going to Washington for Donald Trump inauguration are you serious and you proud of that for a so call president like him
I do like the band smack talk but sometimes they go too far which is always the problem. Most people are not naturally respectful and good at self control.
The truth is , Talladega band has no control in when their institution will implement a football team...the other truth is ...Southern is just a rude band by nature because an army is only as good as its' leader......but that's OK....when the PV Storm whips out another hurricane...and the Ocean of Soul surges with it's waves...and those Tornadoes rip them up...they'll be running to the very states they rank on and disrespect...and many of them are still living here...so be careful who you turn your nose up to...
