i first heard this in N.O. when they played JSU in "04" and i was like DDAAMMNN, they killed em' wit dat one. But this clip does it no justice, I heard it in person and TRUST it was one of the best i heard that year.......T-Conn
I REALLY like this arrangement. SU really has one of the best marching bands, period. If I could come up with any criticism, I'd just like to hear more dynamics from the trumpets. Seems like most times the softest I hear them is fortissimo. lol Band sounds awesome nonetheless. And I liked the musicianship in the ending!
I give yall boy yall props on Let It Burn. Yall was balanced for the most part. B Tone had a nice round sound not that barking bull$#!t. 04 was a pretty good SU band. Much props yall. Who said SU n JSU can't get along?
Did you all notice the TUBAS rocking toward the end?That was cool as hell.NEVER seen other tubas do that,but i know i will very soon.Bands always try to duplicate Southerns style.Thats how you tell who the #1 band is.REMEMBER THAT FOLKS.
...and I can admit to it... I was very upset when we left while SU was playing this. It would be nice if they do the same, because this made us prepare for them this past season and we were ready go at them.
Yeah, I was trying to understand the beginning of the song, seemed a little "loose" to me. However, they rocked it when they got into the melody (where the tubas started doing their thing). I liked the reactions of the two guys from ASU though.
Ok good point but there should be more chords is all I'm saying. I would like to hear more of the 2nd's and 3rd's. You know everyone isn't playing 1st.

i reeeeeeli love this arrangement...its just i think that trumpets ain "sing" this joint...they were playin it like it was and then wat or somethin lol...da mello's came in all nice and wat not and den da trumpets came in blastin...ah well no bands perfect and i still absolutely LOVE this joint by them...but if they woulda played this how they played in those jeans it woulda been 100X betta
Is it just me,or is my eyes playing tricks on me. That dude in front of the camera was wearing a ASU shirt. He probably was a hater too until he heard the human jukebox in person. SU must be good,because that fool should have been on the other side of the field,and he got crunk when they started playing the chorus. I think the clip speaks for itself.
You guys sound great but why is everyone playing the same part? And you need to work on articulation, but other then that you guys sound great! Am not a hater just honest.
I don't mean like the entire band I'm just saying there aren't any chords, like all the trumpets are screaming you don't have to scream to be heard. I don't care for your half time shows but I do like some off your stand tunes.
