JUKE IS SO CONSISTENT THAT WHEN ANOTHER BAND GETS CLOSE TO THEM WE TEND TO SAY THE OTHER BAND WON. NOW A&M YOU GUYS REALLY IMPRESSED ME. THE JUKEBOX THREW ALL KINDS OF HAYMAKERS AT Y’ALL AND YOU STOOD TALL MAKING EVERYONE TAKE NOTICE. MUCH RESPECT.

A&m gut feelin. I dont kno how I feel about it. Might grow on me but didnt expect the trumpets to carry and then they shared it with the lower brass. it felt empty at a point but picked up nicely. But still a & m showed they ass this whole game. !

Final Score: Alabama A&M Bulldogs🐶: 31 Southern Jaguars🐆: 35 Southern had survived a scare against a very good Alabama A&M football team like they SU survived last year in Mobile. Next game it will be the last game in Mumford Stadium while the Jags will take on the University of Virginia-Lynchburg Dragons. They recently lost to Hampton in a blow out. Well that is not important but expect is our last game in Mumford Stadium. After that is Boombox Week!!! Band fans, football fans and alumni get ready for this petty and a dogfight rivalry. This was a great 5th. Both bands definitely kept the challenges coming. I love how AAMU brought a different vibe for the Battle than we would normally see from Alcorn, JSU, etc. AAMU sounded very clean throughout all their song selections and was on point. SU still is bringing the Thunder but found at moments a tad off and got tired at the end. Judging from most of the comments everyone is giving AAMU the small leap and W over SU and I agree. AAMU drumline is sounding much, much, better with the songs and the Z line was all in it. AAMU ain't no hoe this year💪💪 Big ups to both.

If I was aamu I would have just slid after that last song cause man no swac is ready for that kind of pressure in 5th quarter I love it when they dig deep in the book with grimey hip hop and r&b songs that makes the stadium steps move AAMU 💪🏾

Idk how to honestly grade this battle. SU has some minor mistakes that hurt them like the trumpets on Yearning at the beginning, that matters with them hanging over. Then their song selection really needs to just stop cause certain songs sound worse and you can tell when certain sections don’t want to play it but that’s my opinion. As for AAMU, some of the songs were boring but y’all executed and blended well together. Those trumpets are beasts 🔥🔥

Whoever MODIFED the clips for Southern did an excellent job of fooling people who wasn't there. Southern sounded muffled the ENTIRE game.

Man AAMU kept su on they toes. If su didn't play no f'n wit they would been in trouble. I'm actually giving a slight dub to aamu they were more consistent. Su had more raw power but aamu last song left BR with some heat! Btw gut feelings is killer aamu .......

Great battle, a&m 2 years ago started stepping up they arragments an sounding good . they sound great now an arrangements on point. Jukebox still a little to much. Even better arrangements an sound . both were GREAT

No lie I'm a SU fan but A&M was cleaner, tubas were a lil quiet tho and play book needs work but other than that I enjoyed every bit of this battle

I mean southern had more power the last two songs was blowing . But A&M sounded sooooo much better and cleaner WITH power. Southern on some songs its like their lower brass didn't know the music. And those tubas are horrid in articulation sound like people falling down some stairs into a pool of mud. I say AAMU

The Boom bout to drag SU man 🤦‍♂️, SU barely made it past A&M. SU gonna stop sleepin on niggas now man. These other bands in the swac steppin up to the plate. Nobody scared of SU nomo like back in the day. A&M with the slight edge W. SU wasnt terrible but I need more. Have they not learn from homecoming last year when corn came through and took a shit on them? They really took two L's in a row at homecoming the past 2 years 🤦‍♂️

This is a tie to me. SU had a better selection and a little more energy. A&M was cleaner and had better execution(why the trumpets hanging over so much?). I like A&M versatile playbook although the arrangements are hit and miss. The SU power is always there but what's going on with the trumpets? The balance is off which is unusual for SU. I was expecting a blowout in favor of SU but A&M stayed with them and was better some rounds.

Let’s just get a little technical. There’s no way aamu sounds like that in person. This RU-vid channel lowers the other band to make them sound “high school”. SU is not loud from the other side of the field. (I’m in the band) yes mess up are going to happened but it was something in every song with SU. This channel is bias. Making them sound loud but really not 😂‼️ silly rabbit 😂
