Orthodox fighters often struggle in open stance fights against Southpaws in Muay Thai, Boxing and Kickboxing. Southpaws generally have an advantage due to the selection of training partners available (Southpaws have plenty of Orthodox sparring partners, the opposite isn’t always the case though), but by studying Southpaws tactics ANYONE can become a better fighter in an open stance situation.
