Exactly but just less parts better built and slot cheaper. I have had both in my hands. The Walter and the makarov. My choice ,what I Carry,and what I own. The Russian made makarov. Wished I had another or 2 or 3.
There is a 25acp version for the states but I believe ATF blocked it because how thin it is which is odd because the psm is almost identical in thickness to a beretta pico 380acp or American kel-tec p32.
