If you’re in the minority then im in the almost extinct species that would still put a dbrand white skin when my 16 one arrives 😅 i got it in space black see if the color contrast will do it justice..

no you are not. apple purists typically only like the mbp in silver. I went with space black because its reserved for the most expensive models lol I feel special coming from a 11 year old silver intel mbp 😂

@@Uptownv haha, I feel this. I always want to get the 'exclusive/new' colors but my taste is more bright and white. 11 years is crazy. Which is why I know Apple is expensive, but if you take care of your stuff they last forever. Thanks for stopping by the channel

I usually work with the Adobe suite and sometimes Cinema 4D. I’m planning to get the M3 pro, do you think 18 RAM, 11 core cpu and 14 core gpu is enough for my work?

Adobe yes, not sure about Cinema 4D. But if you want more Ram you can’t go wrong with a refurbished M1/M2 with more Ram at a better price!

Please compare the performance of micro sd card slots and how fast they can get. Older macs had a speed of less than 100 mbps, whereas i use to get more than 130 mbps using my card readers. Also please explain the unified memory, is it actually 18 gb of ram or ssd+ram?

SD slots are still the same speed/slowish It uses the SSD when necessary, which is what makes Apple Silicon so powerful even at lower Ram, pretty awesome

Hey! Great video. Just ordered a 18GB model. Think it will be enough for music production and light photo/video editing? Nothing too crazy with the editing, just DaVinci Resolve and maybe small photoshop files. Thanks and subscribed!

I just ordered the M3 Pro MBP 14” in the 11/14 to replace my M1 Max MBP 16 . I bumped the RAM to the 36GB. Probably overkill but it was suggested the bump in RAM is a better investment than upgrading the CPU/GPU. Looking forward to the more portable size. 4 wheel office kind of guy. Subscribed. Cheers!

@@LordBagdanoff Honestly, nothing. I ended up canceling the 36GB RAM and going with the 18GB. Works great for what I'm doing.

It hasn’t felt like enough for me 🙁. Did 2 projects on it. I’m used to my M1 Max and this model doesn’t keep up.

Great video! I initially ordered the M3 version and upgraded the RAM to 16GB until I realized that it was only $200 to get all the benefits of M3 Pro, more than double the RAM of the base model, better processor, extra thunderbolt port, space black color, ability to drive 2 external displays, better thermals. Ended up canceling my order and getting the base M3 Pro and am currently typing this on that device, super happy with my purchase!

Congrats dood! Yes, I do think the base M3 is a good value for the hardware, but as soon as you make a chip upgrade the M3 Pro is the way to go. But, I think that’s Apples strategy and they winning 😅

I purchased the M3 Pro with 36gb of Ram, and 512 Gb of Storage, as such all of My Data is offloaded to a 20 Terabyte NAS Storage System. I can upload anyplace with a wifi connection.

@@JaimeJMarrero Synology, or QNap. You choose the right amount of bays, and right amount of SSD SATA Drives, and can always remove, and add as You need. My Wife does a lot of design work, so she needs 10TBs for all of her work.

I am confused if I should go with M3 24gb or M3 Pro 18gb. They seem closely priced. 🫠😅 Color is easy though. Silver seems timeless.

They do the closed pricing on purpose! I think the 18gb is the way to go. You also get more CPU/GPU cores along with the extra thunderbolt port. And yes, silver 😌
