6:50 this boss fight has lived in my head rent free since I was a child.

I never understood why people liked Space Channel 5 so much since it wasn't a challenging rhythm game, until I watched this entire video. Now I'm hooked!

For me, the most fascinating part of this battle is the final shot against the three robots, when Ulala was able to fire nine separate shots from two guns all at once just by stating the directions the beams needed to go.

Shadow is such a fun antagonist: I loved how he was depicted in Project X Zone 2.

those fucking hidden beats with no prompt are a nightmare I completed so many levels perfectly wondering why I didn't get 100% And the fact that some match up with normal spoken dialogue instead of a beat with the song just made them worse

For a rhythm game, it sure kicks you in the balls with it's difficulty.

Playing this game on a 86” screen with a modern surround sound system is such a different experience than playing it on my Dreamcast hooked up to a 19” monitor w/ cheap computer speakers back in the day. Like experiencing it for the first time. But it is way more difficult and stressful than I remember. Yikes.

what i find so funny is that whenever ulala ecounters the hostages especially the space guide one the game leaves comment which says " space guide is dancing silly" Like couldnt they have come up with a better comment and not do the hostages like that?
