Well done republic pilots! Scrap the clankers and lets hit the pub. Rules of this engagement - You only have the ships on board. No spawning new ships. Firing inside the hangers is allowed. Its up to your fleet commander to time the opening and launching of re-enforcement. After action report video is on the way. Next up we're thinking Imps Vs Rebels. What should the story be for our next battle?

Imperial Arquitens catches rebel Nebulon B flat-footed in the middle of refueling. Rebel fighters have to ward off the imperials long enough to finish fueling and jump out before more imperials make it. I know one of the Nebulon Bs on the workshop has a good bit of hanger space, but the Arquitens might not be quite the ship for the job on the imperial side. Maybe a couple Gozantis or a victory would be better (EDIT) The Nebulon B i was thinking of is by Vollstrecker on the workshop. It has a big hanger but smallish hanger doors so the logistics of trying to scramble fighters from it would be really interesting.

Great fun taking part - you'd think the droids on our CIS production line would correctly wire the power switch on our bombers, but what can I say, they mix up green and red so the human pilots can't steal them so easily. The battle may have went to the Republic, but we'll be back - In even greater numbers than before.

space engineers has so much potential to become something more than just a sandbox. imagine a game like this optimized with npc's/story where you can still build etc. god thats my dream. forget star citizen, leme have SE with a story/npcs

I'd love to see you do something like this, but for Avorion. Make some fleet battles in there and see the carnage. There's some good ship collections that could serve as different fleets, or things from movies and tv shows.

I would love to see Shack and friends do some ship to ship boarding action. Just imagine them fighting in the inside of a star destroyer. Knowing Shack he probley will dismatle it from the inside and build rusty raven 7.2.

Im surprised there’s not a mod yet that makes a field where all objects in the field move in the same direction, that way you can launch fighters while moving...

If you configure it right you dont evem need a mod to do that, with the gravity stuff now you can place them on all side and have individual tubes that your ships can be launched from with no issue of crashing into your own ship because it would be forced to go out the only way the gravity is not being blocked from by the configuration
