3:35 To clarify vanilla SE has a "Pirate PCU Limit" (50,000 by default) that it uses to decide if more NPC stuff should spawn in space, what was previously happening was the grids people took were still counting towards this limit preventing more stuff from spawning. The NPC claiming feature removes that PCU from counting towards the limit so more stuff can continue to spawn :)

personally we need to pay attention to the "narrow corridor stowage" block, which has an inventory and can also set the lighting.

When I first heard about this update, all I could think about was Vanilla Scenarios! And after playing around for just 2 hours, I can see so many applications for it. I am really curios to see what the community comes up with!

I would like to see a Helldivers-inspired fanmade scenario (with some mods to supplement it). Having player-controlled super destroyers, eagles, and pelicans alongside the boots-on-the-ground helldivers would be amazing 👍

ooh imagine electronics warfare with a timer that perpetually increases the signal frequency of an action relay and triggers it on a loop. I don't see it being terrific for performance but I just think it's neat.

Or you can do it on a broadcast block to automatically spam chat. You could even set it to faction only and then give it to the enemy faction so it only affects them.

This will be great for PVP arena type games, you can set it up to broadcast to all players when a point is being captured, for instance.

So now I can power down my base defenses directly from my ship when coming back with a salvaged ship with parts that are still enemy owned, so turrets don't blow it up.

I thought small cargo containers were airtight? Because you could easily add one next to your T-junction to get a hallway with cargo-access ...

The update had a patch 3 days ago called 1.204017 but that update still hasn’t reached xbox. Making our game version incompatible with ALL multiplayer servers.

Is there a way to get more than just 4 hotbar slots for those kind of things on xbox? My slots are always occupied by basic stuff like drills switch lock battery recharge and thrusters😅

Keen "our DLCX is cosmetic only" Also Keen "Here's some DLC blocks that give extra functionality" We've reached the point where Keen just adds whatever to the DLC and the community gaslights and changes the definition of words to let them get away with it.

I don't entirely disagree, but to be fair, the vast majority of the increased functionality comes from the update and not the DLC. The new doors and corridors and consoles mostly just allow cleaner builds and don't do much beyond what already existed... although they're certainly past the point of being purely cosmetic.

Much as I love it it’s the first DLC I’ve been a bit annoyed by, I mean if you look at the content vs other DLCs there isn’t actually that much to justify its inflated price. For the love of.. its almost 1/3 of the base game! Id of hoped it had a little more to show in terms of the paid content. This ones kinda steep! Not even another texture!? Ouch! Easy to see the full update as DLC but it’s not, so keep that in mind.
