dont forget to raid the lockers and beds and stuff at the stations. beds often have cash.

Take two of the drop Pods thrusters and put them on top. One facing forward and the other one facing in reverse. This makes controlling the Pod much, much easier when flying it. You can pretty much get hovering when you need by spinning in circles.

The remote access menu specifically requires a same-grid antenna to control a ship. To remote control without an antenna, do so from the control panel. Your first instinct was correct!

From what i remember of ESDR mod, you need gravel for the food, so you might need to make it so you can only use the survival kit, or you are gonna struggle to even get a base up and running to begin with. and then of course ice becomes a major issue, as you also need that for the water. But im looking forward to seeing how you get on in this challenge. A good little mod for you to think about is Aryx Cockpit Expansion - ACE v1.0, There is one cockpit in particular i just love(the big one). Fits into the game to perfectly. Well worth a look.

Where "Eat, Sleep, Drink, and Repeat are in your mod list does effect Trade Stations and Unknown Signals... An Emergency Rations Dispenser is the first small grid that can be made to provide you with food... large grid kitchens work like assembler under the production tab ("k" menu)

Labeling your trade station will help with getting multiple. It takes a little more time ... comparing the X:Y:Z tells you if you have multiple. Example: ROMG 1 Ore DVAL 1 ... GCTC 1a ... GCTC 1b ... SCDE 1 ... TFAL 1a ... TFAL 1b ... Each time you buy more data pads increase the number

First thought I had was, "wait if you destroy antenna how can you remote the unit" thought I was going crazy. Like wait that works 😂

If you are going to set up a base, just remember that ores don't spawn in a certain radius around economy stations. I believe it is at least a 5 km radius.

Hi @pandemicplaygrund! Is there any place we can find all vanilla game modifications you use? You show mods only in this video, but there are some bought DLCs etc. And it also seems you are adding mods through the gameplay (like PARALLAX ones) - so, is there any place that contains all current modifications so that one can also play your scenario?

I tried this with the base economy, and the answer was not really. The prices for everything just aren't sustainable, especially just buying and selling (no contracts).. There's also a modded star system called The Khurakan System by Rezun that rebalances the base economy as well to make it more interesting for traders that I've been wanting to try but haven't gotten around to it. Might be worth taking a look at for this sort of thing?

Just found this... Wanted to make sure you know there is a large thruster under the pod with the 4 small ones. So you can fly basically right away after adding a gyro.

driving around with your HUD off doesn't help when looking for stuff along the way to a Trade Outpost. 23km travel distance should have spawned quite a number of potential points to investigate or Salvage. also = never visit any Trade Station and NOT search every nook and cranny for loot! space bucks, components, guns/ammo, tools can be found lurking within.

I suppose I'm rather late on that and probably somebody else already told you but if you put your forwards thruster on/off on your hotbar you can just turn it off, accelerate and keep cruising forwards at the speed you 'set' w/o the dampeners trying to stop you when you stop pressing w. To break just turn the thruster back on ;) This makes it so you can turn due to the dampeners, but it does not break unless you want it to

Hey I appreciate your series and your videos on other topics like AI...I was wondering if you could recommend any xbox mods. I know your on PC, xbox won't allow scripts unfortunately and I really want buildview and eat sleep repeat... any suggestions?

I think the mod plants need to be above eats for it to work
