AJ Woodruff I have a small Pelonis heater with a wonky safety switch on the bottom. Your video helped me understand how those switches work, so maybe I can get my heater to stay on. The heater works fine. It's just that switch that jiggles around and cause the heater to not work. I used to have these same heaters without that pressure switch on the bottom, and they were great. These newer ones are not as good, in my opinion. Yes, I do understand that switch's purpose, but in my case, it isn't needed.
Only way I would do this is if I lived by myself. I have kids and dogs in a trailer so when I fix them I don't bypass anything. I run my own circuits and use metal shelves for them too. Can't be too cautious.
Sure does. I don't use it as often, but used it all winter that year all night long! I placed it on a fire resistant base though in case it fellow got knocked over.
