Fun fact: the thunder warriors were only used to take over Terra in the unification wars. The thunder warriors were basically a beta test of space marines and were made in a hurry without much of a blueprint. They were culled after the world and all of the war tribes were unified because they were too unstable and were basically dying due to their crude and rushed creation
There are a few things to address here; 1: Adeptus Astardes were not originally created in Chapters but Legions. The Chapters became standard AFTER the Horus Heresy when Guilliman established the Codex Astardes to ensure that no Chapter held too much power to create another Heresy. 2: While the Bolter yes is one of the standard weapons of the Space Marines, it is not the only standard weapon they use. Among some of these weapons is the Chainsword which is an example of standard melee weapons carried among Astardes. 3: The Primarch Project wasn't abandoned by the Emperor. Since it was the ruinous powers of Chaos that flung the Primarchs to the farthest reaches of the galaxy while still in their Gestation Pods. The Emperor created the Astardes to use in the Great Crusade to unite all of humanity under the banner of the Imperium. But he also used the Great Crusade to seek out his Primarchs or sons so they could be paired to the relative Legions to be used in the Great Crusade. Also many of these legions if all carry the gene seed of their Primarch. Why they call themselves the "Sons of (Primarch)".
@@dialdfordesi It does not. I just have a rare inctercostal muscle pull from the rib under it. I do farm work. A Space Marine will have stronger connecting Tissue than me. Even so maybe 8 pulls in 55 years.
You completely left out the fact that the thunder warriors were only used for a short time then the emperor had the custodians wipe them almost all out for several reason. The emperor then began making the space marines to make his legions to then head out into the galaxy and begin his crusade. After that is when he made his primarchs. So the thunder warriors were gone when the space marines let alone the primarchs made it in the setting.
So you wanna be a space marine huh kid? Alright just sign here…here…here…here…here Side affects may include…well everything. Good news is there’s a 20% chance you’ll survive the whole procedure! And if you do you’ll have life expectancy of about 25 years! I see great potential in you kid!
20 minutes in, i still havent heard in depth of what biological augmentations space marines have. I love 40k, but way too many fans go down the lore rabbit hole, and 40k's is near bottomless
Marvelous videos please! Did you even check the pictures you generated to this video. If you searched even litlebit, you can find awesome art suitable for this video. This is just lazy.
I'm sorry, but thunder warriors were only active during unification of Terra (earth), after that Emperor began Great Crusade with Space Marines to conquer the galaxy! Space Marines were the ones Emperor used in space and not thunder warriors... Eh...
I'm starting to think the script is AI generated... Contradictory aspects like saying recruits are chosen from leaders, survivors and cunning youths but then saying they have almost zero social skills and only know how to handle problems via violence.... Highly intelligent enough to pick up most languages and expertly read body language. Most chapters promote a high degree of scholastic education in warfare, their chapter and parent legions history and culture...
Is it just me or does the underside of space marine shoulder spalders kind of look like they're similar to tank spaced armor 🤔 as in hollow but doubled
We could theoretically make most of the geneseed today through tissue cloning and printing. Use the individuals own cells to clone a second 3d printed heart that's been purpose designed for its use. Eyes with extra rods and cones allowing deeper spectra choices for better vision.
Gene Seed isn't a DNA thing, well not really It's basic material used to make the other organs, some basic gene molding, hormones (so many hormones), warp mojo, and stuff no one really knows what it's for
What are these 'xxxx trials' ? They are literally not a thing in 40k...maybe some chapters have a few of these situations happen to them. But every chapters path to a marine is different even on the genetic side of things because humans on homeworlds they recruit from have environmental based genetic changes. Mostly the codex chapters share only 1 practice and thats putting genetically matured marines into Scout units. Thats how they get initial combat experience. Once they prove worthy, they get power armor and got to a battle company. This ai generated art for space marines is some of the worst ive seen lol.
So, we've made this video to be able to tell fans from posers once they start trying to spout lore facts? "Yeah, you watched the wrong video, bro." Also, "sha-plane" Also, "ass-tarts" Also, who will become the Warhammer 40K? Gotta catch em all!
The Emperfail of ManUnkind is Chaotic. Thus, ManUnkind became Chaotic. This is noticeable in everything: Greed, power-lust, and other emotions are at play within this Emperfail. Proof: He wants it all, "for humanity's sake" (Read, so HE has it all, ManUnkind shall never see these benefits), not even Emperfail will.). He sacrifices life in a plethora of ways: 1) Soldiers (of every type), being slaughtered by the millions a day in the galaxy, "to promote peace, to protect ManUnkind, to gain territory with all it's resources, (and a whole Mauna Kea (Largest mountain on the face of the planet) load of other BS as excuse for this slaughter. Khaine be pleased.). 2) His Primarchs are the result of "negotiating" with the Chaos Gods, to get the needed understanding in order to create them. He himself was FAR too dumb to even get 1/100th of this right. Which, AHA, is later then seen in the Primarch Corruptions (The Thirst, Black Rage, andsofort.), which are, beyond obviously, CHAOTIC corruptions of "The Seed". Time and time again, Emperfail manages it to "coincidentally vanish" at the most crucial times, like just before the Fleet entered the Great Rift, not warning the people of the terrors that laid within, causing a whole cascade of events. If he HAD told the people of this threat, they would have taken precautions, maybe even having not entered the Great Rift AT ALL. The Anathema Blade got stolen just after this, leading to the destruction of the entire species that was in possession of this blade. And Emperfail did not just vanish there, or witheld CRUCIAL information, all so "coincidentally". In actual science, coincidence is known to not be coincidence anymore, after a few of coincidences follow up one another: We then speak of "manipulation" or "determination" (where something just was meant to be, like an Earth Quake as a result of Tectonic Plates.). 3) Emperfail more than once betrayed his subjects, even though they served him well, as he does not regard anyone else but himself as important. To prove this, see point 4). 4) Emperfail cares for nothing but himself and his own toys. He cares not even for his "offspring", the Primarchs. In fact, he sees them not unlike Darth Vitiate/Tenebrae in SW treated his own "beloved": like playthings, or means to an end. 5) Underlings (Thus ALL but himself, even his "friend" Malachor (Ever noticed, the names often alone has an evil part in it? MALachor, MAL is the Latin for evil/bad.) was mere an end to a means. Life in WH40k is so bleak, worthless, a neverending chain of true enslavery. ... . Leading to: People do not live, they mere, and even hardly this, exist. They exist ... to serve, and then to die. That what does not serve, does not need to live. Perfect examples are the endless deaths within the Craft Worlds, or the military. It's EVERYWHERE, in fact, throughout the whole galaxy where mankind has set foot. Pointing to point 5. I could go on for quite a few weeks, but that would be, I think, a tad too lengthy, seeing RU-vid's Character Restriction in posts. It's 2024, RU-vid, really??? 64 bit existed in 1975, and you STILL have these limits? Tssssk. Tell me ... am I wrong? No bias, no emotion, no bullcrap, just straightforward logic, rational, and inner lore: Am I?
I would brush up on my lore a bit before making (an arguably very well made) 40 minutes Lore video. Not to be toxic. But you it's a shane that you woukd get so many basic lore details so wrong, especially when giving the context at the beginning of the video. You deserve to do better.
That's what happens when a RU-vidr encounters a (rather common) word they've never read before, but is too lazy to take 10 seconds to look up the pronunciation. F*cking "sha-plane" 🙄
Yeah, like the presentation and enthusiasm, but your lore background and understanding needs a lot of work. Five minutes in and you've made too many mistakes to count. Keep at it, bud.
This could've been a 10 minute video, worse than Instagram recipes. Don't need a history of the most basic of basics for 20 minutes to get into what the title says.
This guy doesn't know what he's talking about. His timeline, sequence of events, storyline and just everything is way off. Obviously, this guy isn't a fan of 40k.
If you’re going to cover 40k specifically the Imperium then at least know wtf you’re talking about? The emperor created the Thunder warriors on Terra during the Unification Wars. Soon after doing so is when he begins the Great Crusade after recovering the lost Primarchs and using their DNA to create each unique chapter of Adeptus Astartes. Sheesh. At least you’re not annoying af like @majorkill aka major phag.
That AI art was so garbage man. Like you had time to use something better, but you just went with 9:28 : 5 hands genestealer eldar in power armor, holding a 3 barrel bolter with 2 magazines against his scalp
1:41-1:47 “The dystopian world that it’s set in has some of the deepest and most elaborate lore at least, as far as games are concerned.” FNAF: *Am I a joke to you?*
A lot of lore presented here is totally wrong. The script also seems AI generated. Read the books instead and discover the actual (and true) lore for yourselves.
The fact that he was referring to the Emperor of Man as the God Emperor in reference to anything pre-heresy just spits in the face of the imperial truth
Holy fucking shit dude... If you're going to talk about 40k lore, at least get the lore right. There's so much wrong here and delivered so seriously, it can't be confused with a shitpost. It's just so so wrong.
