I was 2 when the series was made.....I watched it when I was about 5, in Australia......At 59 I started watching all these episodes again on You Tube and they are still as enjoyable as when I was a child.

Is it just me, but does everyone seem to pick on poor Rayburn....and that city is REALLY noisy. How do they sleep? That Neptunian seems a charmer..... Roberta Leigh was a first rate writer. Never underestimated the kids she was writing for, never patronised them or "wrote down" to them 😊 I was very young but Space Patrol is ingrained in my memory with Supercar and Fireball XL5

Until the first probes reached Venus, people expected the planet to be a swampy, damp jungle world. That only changed after Mariner 5 measured the real atmospheric pressure in 1967.
