@Sandrisph

I think it doesn't stop and start's heading the way it came. Doesn't work in space like that. I think it makes a loop going up then starts falling down, but with much less speed

The exact trajectory is a loop, that's much more efficient. It separates at like 70-80 km. Loops way up to around 140+ km. And then just falls back almost vertically, even using the earth's rotation to allow the launch site to come back under it.

The colliding exhaust plumes are amazing. That was a very quick turn-around after stage separation. By the way, Michelle Thaller, who hosts many of the NASA broadcasts (e.g. JWST launch, etc.) did her thesis on that sort of effect when the winds collide from two massive stars in a binary system.

0:27 A fresco inside the Visoki Decani Monestary located in Kosovo, Yugoslavia. It depicts two, what look to be arial crafts, in the upper left- and right-hand corners of the painting. Turn the image at the paused timestamp sideways...does it not resemble what's trying to be conveyed on the top left of that fresco? A fresco painted over 650 years ago.
