I just love your realistic and timid answers to these culinary mistakes. You could have acted extreme reactions, but you always keep it real. Thats what makes this channel great. No bullshit, just fun!
someone i knew in college mixed spaghettio's and tequila in a drunken bender, I wonder if Mr. Sausage is willing to sausage tequila-o's. i hope we get a redo with the sauce!
At first I thought, isn't a spaghetti sandwich just a jaffle? And then the jaffle iron appears. If you put this in bread this is a childhood treat beloved in Australia. Love a tinned spaghetti jaffle. I like to add a bit of cheese.
Absolutely revolutionary. Now I can eat spaghetti-o's anywhere without that peaky sauce getting all over. Thank you Sausage Man; my marriage may be saved thanks to you.
i used to do something like this as a kid, but as an actual sandwich i put spaghettios or baked beans between bread and then whacked it in the sandwich maker. by the time the bread was brown, the insides would be nice and warm!
I used to put Spaghetti O's on bread and told my mom it was a Spaghetti O Sandwich. I said it would take off one day. This was 15 years ago. I'm sending her this video now.
so, that sandwich maker is actually what is known as a 'tostie maker' your meant to butter thin bread and fill the non buttered side with whatever filling such as cheese and onion or a raw egg (the butter is there to make sure the bread doesnt stick)
Tinned spaghetti in an actual sandwich made in the sandwich press is a somewhat common food in Australia, especially for kids. They were always sold in school canteens when I was a kid. Spaghetti jaffle, they were known as
Is it a coincidence that Matty Matheson released a spaghetti sandwich video one week after this one? Yes, he probably records those way in advance. But it is serendipitous.
I've had that exact same colander/strainer thingy since my childhood. I'm 45 and still use it regularly. It is older than stink and still going strong.
I figure either add some cheese so it’s a type of grilled cheese sandwich, or pour the sauce into some beaten eggs, French toast the bread, then use it for the sandwich after it’s cooled. That way you can incorporate the sauce without making too much of a mess
Does anyone else remember spaghetti-Os to be way more delicious about 15 years ago? I don’t think it’s my nostalgia either, I knew the taste really well and they just don’t have it anymore.
Watching this made me think of a kinda grilled cheese where a tomato soup is somehow already in the sandwich not on the side, but I guess that would just be grilled cheese with marinara in it? Might be worth trying...
I would complain that that's not what a sandwich is, but I fear retribution from a man who acts with the conviction required to accomplish such a feat.
I think you should stream yourself making sausages more often, you have a perfect streamer personality and I think it'd be very neat to see you making abominations in real time
Oh you got a jaffle maker, nice! I know the trend is to suggest meme food but genuinely if you shove random things in between the bread it's delicious. You can do it with canned spaghetti, leftover KFC, just drop an egg in there and let the heat cook it, basically anything you can think of. It's basically the best way to feel like mr sausage randomly throwing food together, and makes for a healthy and relatively quick breakfast! ...I really like jaffles ok
I've made spaghetti carbonara muffins before (baked in the oven) and they are delicious, so yes, of course this works, you just have to add a proper amount of seasoning (and obviously don't overcook the noodles, the way these canned ones probably are).
I think if you had taken those 2 slices, put some cheese in the middle and grilled it to make a grilled cheese with spaghettios bread and then dipped it in the strained sauce, this would have been a banger.
I've always wanted you to make risotto using rubbing alcohol instead of stock, but I guess we don't always get what we want. I would also accept liquid smoke as an alternative (to the rice, you gotta keep the rubbing alcohol)
