I just recently found your channel and I am OBSESSED! I love your content. I’m vegetarian and most of your stews are plant based. I just love it! Thank you so much for all these wonderful recipes.
OMG. I just made this tonight and it is an outstanding recipe. I doubled it because I make soups for meal prep. I also added celery and a mixture of spinach and kale at the end for extra nutrients. I'll be thinking of you this week while I eat this awesome stew!! Thank you Albert!
Yummy, going to do this tonight for the first time. Im addicted to the Spanish chick pea stew you did. Only me that likes it in our house! I think my son will like this one 🤞😋😋😋
Albert another classic video recipe that is delicious! I made it both as a stew and also with extra broth as a soup! I used a stock pot for both versions - perfect! Please share a few new video recipes posts on Facebook so I can share with family and friends! Thanks to you I have gone from strictly souther Italian cooking to also making authentic food from Spain. Bravo
I ❤ your cooking channel: Healthy and nutritious recipes. I am looking forward to trying this recipe, Looks YUMMY! THANK YOU for sharing your gift and knowledge of Spanish cooking. Stay safe, take care and GOD BLESS! 🙏 🙏 Greetings from Canada.
I had Covid last month fairly badly and had lost interest in food and cooking, but this is now returning and this is the first meal, other than very simple ones, that I have cooked. I added some Chard and Pak Choi from my garden and had a couple of glasses of red wine and it was delicious! Thank you for a splendid recipe.
I made this tonight, but with hot sausage and dehydrated onions and garlic since that was what I had on hand.. It was delicious! My adult daughter liked it a lot as well.
I've been waiting for the Andalusian heat to die down, and for the cooler weather to arrive to try cooking this dish, and today was the day, and Oh Boy! Yet again another success which has really pumped me up and continues to build my new found cooking confidence. I used supermarket bought Chorizo (very tasty), supermarket chicken stock (excellent) but the Red Potatoes you buy here are "all round" sensational! Followed the instructions and delivered another delicious (and this time) hearty meal, AND enough for another meal! I'm looking forward to cooking more of these hearty "cold day" dishes and with increasing confidence! Yet again THANK YOU Albert..El Maestro!!!
Yep, this really is a Spanish classic. The parsley at the end is a bit posh (sorry Albert) and I don't get it but, hey, it's personal. The chick peas work but can be substituted with beans as well. A classic peasant dish which today will have more chorizo than in the past. Crusty bread for mopping as Albert says and a robust wine. This is classic menu del dia and brilliant bang for buck Cheers Albert. WT
I made this for dinner tonight and it was absolutely fabulous. Simple recipe but a dish with fantastic flavors. No leftovers. Thank you for providing such great dishes week after week.
Albert: Delicious! Again, *_I❤CHICKPEAS !!!_* Also again, I have all of these ingredients now. This is what's for dinner tonight (or sooner😋). There's NO garlic goodness like *_Spain On A Fork garlic🧄goodness!_* Thanks again! (Fan from San Francisco, California.) *!!~
I miss the rich and delicious Spamish dishes that my mom and grandma used to make but can't eat now because of an autoimmune condition. I'm so glad you incorporate plant base substitutes in your dishes. I have been looking for a recipe of potaje de garbanzo and I'm so happy to have found yours. I'm definitely going to make this tonight. Saludos. y Gracias
My first thought was "I'll bet he's going to provide a meatless option in the recipe" and sure enough, there it was! Thank you! This looks perfect, considering we've just been hit by another snowstorm.
Simple, quick and incredibly tasty. And your instructions are so easy to follow and you share all the relevant information. Your recipes are something I can’t believe I went without until I found your channel
My friend...I am addicted to your channel..I am sending your links to all my family in Algeria 🇩🇿, France and Canada!! Please keep it up!! I miss my mediteranean food here up north!!🇨🇦😋
@@gabrielebianchi161 I don't understand your question. This guy is a vegetarian, so there will be no meat dishes from him, even the chorizo he uses is plant based!
@@gabrielebianchi161 Because he doesn't use a scrap of meat in all of his recipes, only fish, shrimps and eggs, he only uses vegetable broth, never e.g. chicken stock and, as I said, he even uses plant based instead of pork based chorizo!
Hi! Just discovered your channel.. I love exploring cuisines around the world and I'm so glad to have found you ☺️ I'm from India.. we love to eat chickpea curry and roti (or as a famous delicacy called Chole-Bhature) 💛
Thanks for this recipe. I'm enjoying the mostly vegetarian dishes that I've been making recently, but at the moment every now and then I want to have meat of some kind.
Hey Albert, thanks for including more dishes with sausage and leaving us to make the choice of where the sausage grew up..... Now if you could only show us what the Spanish would do with a nice steak. P.S. Didn't I see an early video here, where you were eating Iberico Jamon?
@@charliesimpson2974 .......Yes, I know Albert is a Fishcatarian......but if you look at his early stuff, there is a video in which he's eating Iberico Jamon....
HI i like ally recipes ,i would like to know your artichokes from the jar ,were these pickled ,& your tomato paste looks more like tomato sauce, would you please let me know .I am from montreal . thank you.
Albert. Greetings from England. I've done a few of your recipes always with great success - some more than others that is probably down to my cooking. One question please? Why do you use extra virgin olive oil? I was taught EV olive all is primarily for dressing. Any thoughts?
Albert, Ive been wanting to switch to eating in Mediterranean lifestyle. With all your recipes, is there other foods youd eat in addition to? Like lots of salads? I am wondering if I could just eat 2 of your recipes a day and be healthy, or if i should eat more vegetables at other times. Thanks!
Where can I find genuine spanish chorizos (from Spain directly) in the US? I recently went to Spain, but no matter what, I was not able to find a restaurant where I could eat such a potaje.
I tried it but it didn't come out good for me. No fault of the recipe i sadly used too much paprika. Next time I'll use less. Also I didn't have fresh tomatoes and used the canned one that wasn't as good. Please don't make the same mistakes I did. I was just working with what I have but I should have used less.
