Entiendo que quieras potenciar tu español, pero debes saber que ya usas esta lengua con una limpieza, cuidado, delicadeza, rigurosidad y fluidez que no son necesariamente comunes entre hispanohablantes. Debes felicitarte.

Gracias! Supongo nunca voy a estar contento de todo porque siempre habrá más cosas que puedo aprender or mejorar, pero también estoy muy feliz y orgulloso de lo que he logrado 😊

Es interesante que tenemos el mismo ámbito, o sea, hablas bien en cuanto al aprendizaje o digamos los idiomas, es decir, tenemos los mismos vocabularios, pero yo que sé, tal vez aparte de dichos ámbitos, tengas más vocabulario que mí, y creo que no estoy equivocado para nada, ya que tienes más experiencia que mí, no intento de compararme contigo o al menos no quiero compararme a nadie, es que antes, me ponía triste y me daba verguénza siempre y cuando los demás hablan mejor que mi aunque habrémos tenido la misma hora o tiempo de aprendizaje, de todos modos, Mi meta es tal cual a lo que te has propuesto, agregar más el vocabulario, porque me hace falta realmente, es impresincdible, en fin GRACIAS POR ESTE VIDEO! lo encuentro muy útil, he repasado y he aprendido, espero que tengas más exito en la vida y conseguirás todo lo que quieras y pues nada. Saludo desde filipinas🇵🇭

Oye Shane, ¿cómo va lo de intentar aprobar el DELE a nivel C1? Todavía no me atrevería aunque estoy convencida de que soy apta para el nivel B2, sin estudiarlo antes.

Por alguna razón este fue el primero Video que podía ver sin subtítulos y entender casi todo que esta pasando. Creo que es por que tu no hablas por rápido por los habladores nativos, pero hablas tanto bien por un aprendiza de español. Gracias para tu historia, era muy interesante!

If i were you, i'd try to improve my pronunciation instead of studying vocabulary.

Thanks, I’m always trying to improve my pronunciation a bit, but it’s not enough of a problem to be a barrier to communication and wouldn’t result in me failing the exam so it’s not my top priority

@@ShaneGodliman yes, of course, you're completely comprehensible. I'm just saying, since you seem to know a lot of vocabolary and ways to express your thoughts, at this point i'd rather try to full-on perfect my pronunciation. That's a word of advice from someone who did the same mistake, i studyed a lot of german, i ended up knowing even more words and grammatical constructions than an average german person; i could even explain the words' etymology. But still, i could not speak as properly as a native because of my accent.

That’s fair enough, but honestly “perfect” or near perfect pronunciation is a goal that neither seems realistically achievable nor worth the trouble it would take me to get close (for me personally) so I’d much rather focus on continuing to expand my vocabulary and grammar because that allows me to better express more ideas with more nuance, whereas mastering near native pronunciation doesn’t really facilitate anything that I don’t have access to already (if that makes any sense)

Buenas metas! He estado siguiendo tu viaje hasta el C1 por un rato y es emocionante! Hice una lista hace unos días también. 1. Aprobar el DELE C1 en Julio. 2. Alcanzar un nivel B2 en Frances al final del año. 3. Escribir un nuevo libro en inglés y español (soy escritor). 4. Hacer videos más constantemente en mi (pequeñísimo) canal de YT. 5. Recordar que aprender idiomas es una manera divertido pa expander nuestros mundos y no enfoque demasiado en los números y niveles (pero también aprobar el examen). Mucha suerte con tus metas!

I would definitely say the interesting stuff that you can understand a bit less, the fact that you enjoy it will allow you to do a lot more of it and that accumulated exposure over time will boost your comprehension 😊

Just a random thing I noticed: you said "para mí y" at some point. Do you know if it should be "para mí e?" The examples of "e" that I've seen have always involved the following word starting with an i, like "español e italiano." I had never thought about what happens if the previous word ends with an i.

Hey! "Y" and "o" don't change when the previous word ends with the same sound, it changes when it's the following word starting with it. For example, it would be "para mí y para ti" or "ocho o nueve"

Hablás suficientemente bien pará hacerte entender. .El español es tan difícil que muchos hispanoparlantes no lo escribimos o hablamos correctamente, no conocemos la gramática etc...por ejemplo en Ciudad dé México les a dado por modificar e introducir palabras como (güey), y eso confunde a los amantes de nuestra cultura y es chistoso ver qué aprenden un Español muy "guarro", (a güevo), ( no mames), Así mismo hay un "Argüende" en todo los países hispanoparlantes que es el lenguaje "INCLUSIVO"" que es una moda más que una revolución lingüística...no estoy muy seguro si los angloparlantes también estén pasando por ese replanteamiento pretencioso del #LenguajeInclusivo .
