Did u have to trim that lip piece at the end of steering column? Because when I tried to tighten the steering bolt on the short hub the top part of my column would just pop out.
My RX7 FC had the same problem. Had to trim the the plastic on the column about 7mm so the White part of the NRG short hub could slide past it. Then I still had to find a spacer that was tapered for the back end of the post. About 14.75mm to 15.5mm and 7mm thick. Then and only then did the NRG short hub work properly. Its a PITA but it works great now. That or have a shop deal with it and pay extra $$$. Hope this helps someone.
