@Mark Chiodras it's basically spargo and Leo like it has always been The major reason why I would also say spargo is more on top is because he is consistently doing better than Leo as in winning majors and beating top players Now with Leo, he'll come back for like a couple tourneys and either completely obliterate the competition or get shit on If Leo could consistently do what he did when he came back and not lose a single game, he'd be on top
focus on movement cloud lives and dies ENTIRELY on fundamentals like movement and spacing learn spargo's recovery method to counter cloud's ONLY weakness (im still struggling with that myself but ive made progress) you MUST be aggressive at all times. chase off stage. spam back airs. stay glued on top of your opponent. NEVER let them breathe. charge limit while falling. learn how to fall down from holding the ledge to charge limit and recover back. learn the timing for spikes both the forward and down airs. punish sheild touches with climhazzard. use up smash as your main dub scooper. use your charged limit ASAP the speed you get doesnt help much cause cloud is already in the top 2 or 3 in speed and will jist be wasted time you cpuld have used it and already charged towards the next limit attack
never seen another player in a modern smash game have such precise movement, literally every single aerial he throws out is coming from the perfect position
@@boobaahsworld8282 every stock is the same, bair > move or uair juggle until op is at kill% then kill with dash attack or bair ledge trap. tbh only ult characters i think r interesting to watch are joker and sheik, every other char is so linear
@@randompianist8359 got it, so characters that have more freedom of expression. I was thinking more on how a character/abilities look. I can agree on that aspect that cloud can look very linear with combo routes.
cloud has no counter pick cloud has no disadvantaged state (unless your character has a true combo and they probably dont) as a cloud main even when im getting my ass kicked i can count on having at least a dozen ways to IMMEDIATELY gain advantage back and more often than not just simply pluck the stock you cant jump towards a cloud youre gonna get up smashed you cant roll behind a cloud because youll get read for a forward smash, poked with a down tilt, launched.with a back air, ect. you cant touch clouds shield because youre gonna get juggled from climhazzard into a dozen up airs. you cant get back on the ledge against a cloud because he literally has at least EIGHT ways to knock you back away and several to just take the stock right then and there. the ONLY decent (not even good) to even have a chance is to gimp him off stage or keep throwing him if the cloud player.keep baiting for the shield punish... i can literally spam cloud's back air (the absolute best and most broken move in the entire game by a LONG shot) over and over and over again all match with ABSOLUTE IMPUNITY cloud is broken and is the best character in the game if you have good fundamentals like spacing and know your opponent's character which is why hes.considered only high tier by most people lmao lmao lmao 🤣🤣🤣
