Join me for this wonderfully sparkly rhinestone design tutorial! I had a special request to learn how to add rhinestones to a dot mandala stone and I couldn't be more excited to create this step by step tutorial.
This may look like a complicated design but I assure you that each step is easy to follow through the visual cues and before you know it you have this sparkling bling rhinestone artwork all created by you!
Below I have listed the materials needed for this project. You can choose your own variety of colors or follow along with my color palette, it's totally up to you!
Materials -
Rock approximately 3 inches in diameter
Rhinestones -
1x 10 mm (clear)
16x 5 mm (clear)
16x 5mm (light pink)
Diamond Glaze or super glue
Paint Colors
Black
White
FolkArt Teal
FolkArt Teal Topaz
DecoArt Wild Rose Pink
FolkArt Vintage Tea Rose
FolkArt Nickel
DecoArt Americana Deep Turquoise
FolkArt Ballet Pink

Tip: Adding a finishing glaze such as resin or DecoArt Triple Thick will fill in any tiny little gaps between the rhinestone and the curve of the stone and give it a stunning glass like finish!
