@The Flooring Factory: Hello Roger, I did enjoy this video and have subscribed…It was very educational and I am considering purchasing SPC flooring after viewing…I want to know how long does this installation last? Will it last a lifetime? How do you maintain it? What is the downside you didn’t mention if I purchase from one of the big-box stores? Thank you in advance for your rapid response….

I got spc flooring in my 3k sqft house. But not too happy with the appearance. But very durable.

you compared an spc to a wpc , an spc is stronger on the composition part but on the click lock part wpc is superior and better. Each floors have their downs and ups for example yes spc is harder but it also gets very cold compared to a wpc.

My brain is about to explode! Thank you so much but I think I'll stick to new hardwood flooring. This is just too much and you're right, we are not engineers and I don't have you to take with me when I'm looking for my flooring.

Your testing is misleading. The darker color will show the damage clearly the lighter flooring. It’s more difficult to see next time you test use two dark colors.

SPC stands for stone plastic composite, the acoustic underlay is called IXPE, and you should only buy 100% virgin or new material from the spc manufacturer not recycled plastic or stone powder, we are wholesalers in Australia based in Perth.
