Seriously. And what even is the point of this film? Most people who are interested in a movie like this have probably already seen the original. Jame Mcavoy playing a psycho seems like fun, but it's not enough to get me to watch this. They showed everything in the trailer anyway.
I hope they don't change the original ending! I remember how they completely ruined the American remake of The Vanishing with a crappy, happy ending. 😏
You say that but what do I know after watching this trailer? A psycho dad, a kid who can't speak ( was his tongue cut or something) a family in dire straits. Of course it would have been more fun to watch this without seeing a glimpse of the trailer but what can you do these days?
"The film "SPEAK NO EVIL" has an intriguing thriller and mystery-filled storyline. The deep and complex relationships between the characters take the audience on a captivating journey. While keeping the viewers engaged, the film also leaves them guessing until the very end. Visually stunning, with striking scenes throughout, this film is definitely recommended for thriller enthusiasts."
We like horror movies. I really liked the topic. There is extreme sadism. The subject is that two families meet on a trip. While everything is going well, suddenly setbacks occur and the dark secrets of the family are revealed. I recommend you to watch it, I watched it with tension every minute, it was great.
Speak no Evil 2022 (Danish) is the original. This is an American remake. I hope the story will be different, to fit an American\English social etiquette. Because it was an important part of the theme.
A completely unnecessary remake. The original is one of the most disturbing "horror" films I've seen in recent years. James MCAvoy is a great actor, but it looks like they are making his character way over the top. Patrick wasn't like that in the original. Neither was Karin. It was all about understated menace. You knew they were bad news before their plan was ever revealed. I'm curious if they will change the ending.
Good to see Scoot McNairy getting work. I just don't get why he get's so much of those cood guy father type of roles when he clearly would be a good menace maybe a bit in Walton Goggin's style
Take a Tuscany landscape. Slip in a friendly expat host. Invite guests over for a weekend. And let slip in the "Something's not right..." vibes. With James McAvoy. Italian holidays will never be the same again.
