MY STORY
(and maybe YOUR story too?)
I was born shy. I am still an introvert.
So I threw myself in the deep end. I performed music on stage in front of thousands.. before I felt ready. I competed in debates. I gave speeches on stages.
Success, failure.. Embarrassing failures. But many massive wins too.
I got great at it. But for me, confidence and the ability to speak to people should be about real life. Not just stages or performances.
You walk past people every day...
..Groups of strangers. That beautiful girl. That businessperson. Any of them could change your life.
Any could be your next partner or opportunity.
You should be able to connect to people anywhere, anytime. Not just on stage. So I started going out and giving speeches to random groups of strangers.
Plus, I let them choose a random word for me to give a speech on.
Believe me this: there is no greater exercise to boost your confidence, charisma and speaking skills.
It's also personal development in a larger sense. For example,.... I went out and gave speeches to 10 random groups of strangers in the city each day. Whether I felt like it or not. Whether it was raining or scorching hot.
In multiple countries.
And it changed my life.
