I'm sure that you compared notes with LFG sometime after his video. I saw the first time you did Buffalo ribs and I thought that it was ingenious. Poor LFG though, filleting Buffalo and trying to eat it like Crappie or something. lol

Liking the freshwater spearfishing. Wonder what the laws are like up north or in Canada, it would be a cool video to take a big muskie.

How do you cook your sheep’s head. Where I’m from there’s so many of them but no one likes eating them. Everytime I do try cooking them they don’t taste as good as what people say. Is there a way to make their meat taste better??

This was an exciting video. You guys had a really great time. Up North, I think Michigan has a Friday night fish fry with nothing but carp. They clean them, and then put 4 slice cuts on each side and deep fry them. It was cool seeing that school bus so far down in a lake. I fished a pond as a child and they had a car submerged in it with the top barely showing. We caught several fish around it. I asked them why a car was out there? They told me that it was a good way to get fish. They said that fish love to swim in and around the car. You guys had a really great time. I am looking forward to your next video. God Bless

I'm guessing that since you're only cooking the Ribs that you wasted the rest of the Buffalo meat? Surely a guy with a mullet owns a meat grinder? Say it ain't so? The rest of the Buffalo tastes just as good as the ribs. I eat the ribs for sure. But I also eat the rest of the body meat either by frying it and simply eating around the bones. ( Always keep a stack of buttered white bread on the table when eating whole fish. If you swallow a fish bone simply take a bite of buttered bread and swallow. The gooey nature of the white bread along with the butter will take the bone with it to your stomach where it'll be digested.) However if you're too persnickety to pick out the Bones while you eat. Then you can also grind that boney meat and then turn that into fish cakes. The bones grind up easily and will give your fish cakes added calcium. Or you can pressure can the bonier parts and you'll find that you have something on your pantry shelf that tastes far superior to you that either canned tuna or salmon. And last but not least you can cut the boney pieces into cracker sized thin slices and pickle them. The pickling process will make the bones easily edible. For a great fish pickling recipe. Check out Cooking With Shotgun Red pickled fish. Great recipe! Then there is the backbone and the head. Cut your fish heads in half and remove all of the gills. Then either freeze the heads individually until you get enough for your entire family and you can either grill them. There is some really nice meat on the heads the cheek meat is one of my favorites. And especially if you cut off the fishes collar like a lot of fishermen do. Where there is a great amount of delicious tasting meat. Or you can boil the heads along with the backbone to make a broth and then pick the head and backbone clean being sure to have strained the broth first for any bones left behind. Add the picked meat back into the broth with some carrots, onion, potatoes and whatever type of soup flavorings you like. I absolutely loved doing a spicy fish curry this way. Once you put these things into practice you'll realize just how much of a great food resource the average American throws into the trash or compost bin. Buffalo fish are native to the Americas. Whereas the Common Carp is a naturalized species, grass carp an introduced species and the silver flying Asian Carp is an invasive species. But there is no such animal as a " Buffalo Carp" Carp and Buffalo fish are two different species. Carp belong to the minnow family and Buffalo belongs to the sucker family. I was very glad however to see that you understand the importance of bleeding your fish. IT does in fact make every single fish taste better.
