Spearfishing Yasawas - Spanish Mackerel Run for Dinner 

Spearfishing in the paradise Yasawas Islands fishing Spanish mackerel for dinner on a quick one hour mission to one of my favourite reefs in Fiji.
Amazingly we managed to bump into Rhys from No Viz Adventures on Nanuya Island staying at Sunrise Lagoon Homestay run by my friend Tevita I highly recommend staying there.

All fish were of legal size and were speared for consumption. I abide by catch size limits, daily takes and no fish zones. Over the past 6 years I have made the commitment to no longer buy fish, so I only eat the fish I catch. Spearfishing is the most sustainable form of fishing on the planet, it is also the most environmentally friendly form of fishing when practiced well.
