Day 1 of 7 Days Surviving on a Remote Island in the South Pacific.
Spearfishing and foraging for food as we set up camp on our very own island. Gorge on coconuts and papaya that grows wild here and search for tasty ocean treats to spear and eat.

All fish were of legal size and were speared for consumption. I abide by catch size limits, daily takes and no fish zones. Over the past 6 years I have made the commitment to no longer buy fish, so I only eat the fish I catch. Spearfishing is the most sustainable form of fishing on the planet, it is also the most environmentally friendly form of fishing when practiced well.
