Yes, there is a large gap surrounding the headlight body. I may find some weatherstripping to close this gap as water will surely find its way into the crevice which is where the contacts are located. They look and operate great. Since the side lights are not functional and they replaced them with a reflector, I used this lead for the halo/LED lights. Caution: when inserting the plugs into the light sockets, be sure to match up positive and ground sides. Also, when installing the body of the light, pop in the top post with the round end FIRST, then insert the 10mm bolts and tighten. This will make the install easier. Instructions could use some modifications I found..

I have em and mine don't fit for crap. I have big gaps. It don't look terrible but mine have held up very well. No fog and no blown lights in like 5 years in my 01 dakota.

You can adjust the gap between the headlights and bumper easy,two screws on each side of bumper mounting bracket(two bolts per side) . Just loosen them and move bumper up or down

My headlights have three black wires and three white wires don’t those have to be wired for the halos too work?

What size is the replacement bulb for the low beam lights?

Just a heads up, the video looks as though the headlight isn't even aligned with the body. You know why by chance?

l have literally clicked on 3 videos for dodge dakota headlights and they are all the same video!!!

Yeah these things look trick but the fit is for shit! HUGE gap between the fender opening and the light assembly.

How do I go about getting a refund?

I have these on my 08 f150. They fog up and now one of the Helios went out. Only 2 years old. Junk

Fitment is a huge issue for these lights, if i could have got the company i bought these from to respond they would be holding the return box already, GAPS!!, How about having to build spacers to get them to to flush mount, the wiring is half assed, must have been a ton of condensation complaints, my kit came with an explanation of how and why it will happen to your fancy new lights. Searching for a reputable After market headlight to replace these nice looking in the box, not so nice on the truck lights. DO NOT PURCHASE THESE Spec D lights!!!
