In this episode of The Debrief, former 22 SAS Trooper Big Phil Campion speaks to Krishna Thapa.
Born in Nepal, Krishna's parents had a dream for him to join the Gurkha Regiment before he was even born. A highly prestigious career, open to only 180 recruits from the 20K+ applicants, Krishna was successful and completed junior brecon, before attempting SAS Selection. In his 17 years in the regiment, Krishna has also led the world record attempt for servicemen summiting Mount Everest. Krishna was an integral part of Hari Budha Magar's summit, which was the the first double-above-the-knee amputee to complete the challenge.

LIVING BEING IS OUR RACE,MANKIND IS OUR RELIGION HINDU,MUSLIM,SIKH,CRISTAIN,THERE IS NO SEPARATE RELIGION ALMIGHTY GOD KABIR is the father of all souls that JESUS, MOHAMMAD, GURU NANAK, VEDH was telling in BIBLE, QURAN, GURU GRANTHA SAHEB❤ Who is complete God according to ORTHODOX JEWISH BIBLE ? Iyov 36:5 - Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB) See, El is Kabir, and despiseth, not any; He is Kabir in ko’ach lev (strength of understanding). Translation: Supreme God is Kabir, but despises no one. He is Kabir, and firm in his purpose. In all Bible translations, the word Kabir has been translated as "Mighty" or "Great" whereas Kabir is the original name of Supreme God. Conclusion: This verse of the Bible proves that Kabir is Complete God. The one who worships God Kabir by taking initiation from the complete saint sent by him gets complete salvation. After attaining salvation that souls rest in peace in the eternal abode Satlok forever. The throne of God is in Satlok( ETERNAL PLACE) 😊😊 God Kabir met Jesus and took his soul to Satlok. On their way, God Kabir made him see his ancestors David, Moses, Abraham, etc. in the Pitra Lokas. Then God took him to Satlok❤ Allah Kabir in Holy Quran Sharif, Surat Furkani 25, verse no. 52-59 Verse 25:52:- Fala-Tutiyal-Kafiran-ve-Jahidhum-Bihi-Jihadan-Kabiran”, it is clearly written ‘Kabiran’ We can call it ‘Kabir’ or Kabira’ or ‘ Kabiran’ or ‘Khabira’ or ‘Khabiran. It is clear this is Kabira. The translators of the Quran interpret it as "do not obey the disbelievers, and strive against them with the Qur'an a great striving". However, Prophet Muhammad’s God is saying that Oh Prophet! Do not listen to the kafir (disbelievers, who instead of worshipping one God, worship other gods-goddesses and idols etc) because those people do not consider Kabir as the Supreme God. You may remain firm on the basis of the knowledge of the Quran given by me that, Kabir only is the Supreme God, and may struggle (Do Not Fight) i.e. remain rigid for Allah Kabir. ❤ HINDU VEDA Mantra Sankhya 1400 Samveda Utarchik Adhyay no.12 Khand no. 3 Shloka no. 5 says that the Supreme God Kabir manifests on Earth to spread awareness about the correct spiritual knowledge by means of His Shabdavali: “Bhadra vastra samanya3vasaano mahaan kavirnivachnani shansan || Aa vachyasv chamvoH pooymaano vichakshano jaagrvirdevveetau|| 5|| Bhadra - vastra - samanya - vasaanH - mahaan - Kavir - nivachnani - shansan - aavachyasv - chamvoH - pooymaanH - vichakshanH - jagrviH - Dev - veetau|| Translation: (VichakshanH) Clever people (aavachyasv) through their speeches, instead of telling the true path of the way of worship of Purna Brahm, by directing towards the worship of others, in place of nectar, (pooymaanH) pus from a boil in the form of the worship of others [like, ghost-worship, Pitra-worship, worship of the three gunas {Rajgun-Brahma, Satgun-Vishnu, Tamgun-Shankar} and worship of Brahm-Kaal] (chamvoH) are respectfully making sip the wrong knowledge (bhadra) the supremehappiness-giving (mahaan Kavir ) Supreme God Kabir (vastra) in a body in an ordinary attire i.e. {the meaning of 'vastra' is 'attire' - in saint language, it is also called 'chola'. Chola means body. Like, if a saint leaves his body, then it is said that Mahatma has left his chola}, (samanya) acquiring another body made up of mass of lights [tejpunj] similar to that of Satyalok (vasaanH) by spending life like a common man and living in the world for a few days (nivachnani) by means of his Shabdavali1 , the true knowledge (shansan ) by explaining (Dev) of the Supreme God (veetau) hidden Sargun-Nirgun knowledge (jagrviH) awakens/brings awareness about❤ PRESENT MESSENGER of ALMIGHTY GOD KABIR is SAINT RAMPALJI MAHARAJ 🙏🙏

Without a doubt what Krishna has achieved and done in life is simply mind bending. I am disgusted by how the UK government continues to treat Gurkhas as second class citizens. If these brave men are willing to lay down their lives for Great Britain then they bloody well deserve the exact same pay as their respective UK based counterparts, full benefits and full British citizenship!

As American when I was with the 3/75 we went to Belize and served along side and trained with the 4th Princess Ghurkas. Patrolling the border with Guatemala. Had 5 fire fights with the Guats. None of us were hit. Later in life, served along side the 7th Duke of Edinburgh Ghurkas. That was a fun year! They are true professionals. Totally warriors, ancient warriors. They are violent when it comes to war. I was happy they were on our side. Great sense of humor and genuine guys.

In what way exactly are they mistreated by the UK government - equality of pay, pensions and conditions to UK soldiers, perhaps? If so, have you considered the possibility that equality in all forms would make the continuance of British Gurkha recruitment unsupportable on military or financial grounds? After all, why go to all the extra expense of maintaining facilities in Nepal and dealing with distinct cultural and language issues if all other things are equal?

I watched a tv show where a young guy had to carry his father miles across a mountain every week. He carried him in a basket with the strap across his forehead. When the interviewer asked "Isnt he heavy" his reply was along the lines of "He is my father, how can he he heavy?" He looked genuinely puzzled by the question. This shows you the mindset that makes a Gurkha. Their bravery is second to none because they see life differently.

A great interview with lots of knowledge and experience Gurkha's are great soldiers with lots of discipline and self respect and self motivation even before they qualify to join the Gurkha regiment's they are all ready tuned in to discipline and respect and self motivation that's why they probably do so well as soldiers and in the military the have got listening tools and follow instructions with out back chat and complaints they just get on with things to there best ability just shows discipline and respect and self motivation really does work well in team work and the individual

Flat shared with a former Gurkha when I first moved to London, he was around 30 and at University but had previously served 5/6 tours in Afghan. Told me a few crazy stories and the reasons that ultimately lead to him leaving (including a crazy story where he had to walk up to guy holding at an AK47 to search him because due to ROE they weren't allowed to use force because he wasn't pointing the gun at them). Super humble and quiet guy, you would have to pinch yourself to remember he was a badass solider lol I also have a picture with his Kukri, which he slept with beside his bed 😂

Calling bumkiss on that- ROE they can be holding a weapon ( especially in Afgan its a status symble) you can only engage if they are discharging that weapon for 1 & doing 5 or 6 tours. Utmost respect for all who serves be it a cook or a tier one soldier, look Phill even lived this comment, says it all 👌🇬🇧

I'm from PNG in the South Pacific. I've heard of the gurkhas, men from Nepal recruited into and serving in the British Army. I even saw some of their Documentaries, the process they went through to become gurkhas. Fearless fighting soldiers, the best when it comes to knives fighting, deadly warriors. The best as well in jungle fight. Even though I'm a policeman serving in the RPNGC (SSD), I had so much respect for them.. They deserved the best and more from the British Government when they are done with their service in the British Arm Forces... Salute you man for you achievement and service. 👍... 🇵🇬
