this comment is addressing the guys that were there a year after lunkers. That gunner for sure did not need to be carrying that mine sweeper. kind of aggravating to see that. And to solve the mystery of what was on the SQL's back, its a sled. its for 1-2 man team to drag wounded through heavy situations or up and down hill. big life saver on both the wounded and the suckers left to drag it. makes life a lot easier.

Really wish they would do some of the Ukrainian trench footage. Maybe it’s to spicy and he doesn’t want to take the risk of getting bonked? But I would love to hear their commentary on it. It just seems like a completely different type of war. Videos of what you think is a friendly running around only for them to start dumping rounds into them at like 25 yds at most. Seeing all these trench’s they have dug is crazy and seems like a nightmare to have to clear out. There’s a video with them taking a trench then sleeping in it and using the enemy as pillows because “their nice and soft”. Hope to hear Lunker’s perspective as a global war on terror vet sometime.
10:24 engineers? I don’t imagine a grunt would have a VMR2 or even a CMD but might just be different in the marine corps. We do the mine/ied detection and clearing for the grunts. Kind of weird to see the two different detectors employed at the same time the GPR function on the VMR is pretty useless plus the thing is heavy as hell I would just stick with the CMD
The 2ID guys were combat engineers (12B) and yes sometimes shit gets stupid as a 12B like carrying a 240 and a mind hound sometimes with a Thor on your back as well.. lol 🙄
Has anyone here ever had a peroneal nerve injury? I had surgery for my pinched nerve in my lower back, the nerve pain persists even though it's no longer punched. Any advice on how to deal with nerve injuries and their pain would be greatly appreciated. Movement and exercise helps with the pain, yet sometimes it causes more pain.
Medical student here, yes I’ve heard of it usually from people crossing their legs, or a fracture or injury to the fibular head. Pain and nerve injuries can be very tricky to work through and I’d say to find a neurologist, and avoid surgery unless necessary

I was in a sapper company and I had the 249 and carried the detector as well. It’s definitely not optimal, but when you are short guys gotta do what you gotta do.
In the first one they had already hit the BMP. Russians ran off and were holed up. They were going to throw a frag into the BMP to finish it off. This same unit has a video of them outside of a building fragging and shooting Russian soldiers inside the windows.
