Plastic paper gonna save the world? Olefin fiber is a synthetic fiber made from a polyolefin, such as polypropylene or polyethylene... And this process make it non recyclable!

I would like to buy some sheets. Very cool. A friend of mine made paper from cat-tail plants once. You should try it, lots of fiber in the seed heads, also cat tail plants clean pollution and sewage out of water. Great video!

such an innovative poduct! its great that it saves trees from deforestation and takes less water to make, but I just worry about the emissions produced to both mine and refine the product. Also, with the addition of plastics to create the paper, would large scale production cause more microplastics to be released into the environment when the paper is inevitably thrown away? i wonder if it can be recycled infinitely. Hopefully they can get the plant resin to work before they go into large scale production. They may have answered these questions where the audio cut out..

So you made plastic paper and it's just full of calcium carbonate to be a filler and color it white, idk how this would even be environmentally friendly. Water can be reused for making paper and trees can be re grown. Limestone has to be mined and is non renewable. They say they want to move from oil resin to plant resin but that's just that, not reality. Plant resins suck lol. Also you'd still need plants to make paper which was the whole point. If this was actually useful it would already be everywhere it's not even complicated to make
