I recently put a pair of Pathfinder Sports (in 38c width) on my 2021 Marin Gestalt - and even though I haven't gotten the chance to do TOO much riding on OR off road (although I've done some of each), I'm pretty happy with them SO far. Solid all-around tire...
I'm thinking of getting the same tires but I'm not entirely sure my rims are a good fit for the 42mm version. May I ask what the inner width of your rims is? Thanks in advance!
sick man..ibe been looking for tires for mine and i wanted to go a lil wider..are the rims still stock?is 42 the widest you can go for a stock rim you think?thanks
Don't let bike shop mechanics scare you into being ocd about your brakes. Even car shop mechanics almost never use proper brake cleaner to clean off packaging grease when installing new brake parts. Were people and these bike mechanics ever ocd the same way about the brake track on rim brakes? Rim brake calipers are mechanically weaker with less leverage, the brake tracks on the rim flexs with the wheel, and we know that they don't do well with the slightest water/dirt/mud when compared to disc brakes. When was last time you've seen a bike mechanic clean rim brake wheels with brake cleaner after changing a set of tires?
Hey nice bike. I'm looking at buying a used one here in canada. The bike is basically brand new riden 5 times and can tell by pics. The bike here in canada is $1099 msrp + 13% tax. The guy will take $1050 but bike blue book says it's worth $820 canadian...you think its worth it?
@@markminoogian1491 Hello! Great video! Are these tires in reality 42 mm or less in the end or more? They say they will be small. Can you measure their width? This is very important to me
