Hi, thanks for your video ! is the specialized power better than the specialized phenom that you tried on an other video ? Because I have tried a specilaized Phenom and I was feeling very unconfortable. I want to know if you think the speaciliazed Power is a good saddle and better than the Phenom ? Thanks in advance for you help :)
Expert is the entry level saddle with more padding. The power arc Pro and s-works are lighter and more expensive, you got the right one with more padding and should have got 155mm.
I hear you bro, i also had a bit of pain in the sit bones like i told you.. But it went away after 80k and after finding a comfy position for my riding style. maybe you should try to play with the tilt with the 155 expert saddle tomorrow ? this is the best saddle i have ever tried, i tried harley's Phenom and it was too narrow for me though.. but like i told you saddles are a personal preference..
it is a 143 mm Expert ARC, which is actually more narrow from what I've noticed, I've just picked 155mm Phenom, much more comfy. I think 155 mm Expert would work great as well. I think this is very important to get correct width. 155 mm seems awesome for me!
Glad to hear that bro! i havent had a chance to try the phenom 155, maybe i'll switch for it in the future.. congrats on the saddle bro, like i told you it's very important to measure your sit bone width for extreme comfort!
getting back to Specialized Store today to get standard Power saddle, maaany guys have it on their bikes here on long distance riding events. I must test it out. The good thing - Specialized changes saddle for free to let you find the one you like
that's awesome man! have you bike fitted yourself ? Do a basic bike fit, there is a plenty of youtube videos on bike fitting... i really like the power saddle, I mean i still have some ass pain after riding for 14-16 hours but it's not as bad as my older saddles .. Maybe in the future i'll find a perfect saddle that'll give me 100% comfort and no sore ass at all..
Nice video. I have a power expert and am looking to upgrade to the sworks. Should I get the sworks power or the sworks power arc? What is the difference?
+J S I am going to try power, not arc today at night and then I can tell what's the difference, but most of my mates are riding power original, not arc. Arc has the smaller cut out and I don't know how it is compared to the original one in terms of comfort. Will be able to tell it in a few days
The Arc and the power are both stubby nose. The arc has a curve at the edge while the regular power has less of a curvature. The power is better for the efforts on a road bike while the arc is designed to be a shorter road saddle.
Yes we all know that (more informations at facebook.com/notes/specialized-concept-store-bangsar/power-saddle-vs-power-arc-saddle/472842066434622/ ), but in terms of sensations ? There s always a huge difference between theory and real use.
good video, i have the flat expert version of that saddle and i m really impressed, i find it great upright, on the hoods and on the hoods aswell . i made a video about it, check it ou!
