The Loupé 1.1.5 Firmware introduces HalfDub. It's a function that offers half-speed functionality in a significantly different manner than the ReadFX equivalent, which was the default method for the Loupé up to this point. Having both HalfDub and ReadFX immediately available lets us directly compare the similarities and differences of these two approaches to half speed. We also examine, and demonstrate, some reasons why we might (or might not) choose one over the other.
