u told that catalytic triad is same in all 3 members but i have a doubt that in S1 pocket of trypsin , it contains asp 189, his 57 and ser 195 ?

How is Asp-189 in trypsin considered a catalytic triad if there aren't two other residues present?

+Cognitive Philosophy i dont really study about trypsin, but maybe you can check out on Biochemistry Stryer book, it explains briefly how chymotrypsin works, after that they discuss abt trypsin too. hopefully it helps ;)
