I needed this videos so badly five months ago for my exams 😝😝 but I am happy that you are posting the videos again❤️..so I can clear my concepts You teach amazing🤗🤗
I was having so much tension regarding Biochemistry and after seeing the different metabolism I found in my textbook. Thanks to your videos all of them are made easy. Moreover, you teach exactly in the same context and in the same way as described in our text books. Thanks a lot of this.
AK LECTURES I can’t believe you actually replied. Thank you so much, it means a lot! I’ll think of you during my exam tomorrow. If you are ever visiting the UK, please remember to contact me!
AK LECTURES Hey! I totally smashed it, so I’m really happy and stress free now😁 but not for long, because I have two more to go until the end of term. I’ll keep watching your amazing videos and I know I will be fine ❤️
Insane how much details you forget if you never recap initially learned knowledge (as you don't use it anymore)... Glad you revitalize my old neuronal networks on metabolic biochemistry. And pretty relevant too as I'm in experimental hepatology. AST/ALT are liver function tests, indeed. Side note on the APAP (acetaminophen, = paracetamol): DON'T take more than 4 grams per day !!! Your liver will thank you!
Greetings Sir, Wishing you a Happy Teacher's Day. In our country India, we celebrate September 5th as the Teacher's Day. Your Lectures are very easy to understand. Thank you very much Sir!
Hi! Your channel is AMAZING, I've been following you for a while now, and I enjoy every new episode you release, I bet it must take a lot of work to do. I just have a little question, do you think you could do a practical serie one day? As you for now only cover theory, by that I mean doing a serie on Lab practice, how to make a PCR, a Western Blot, speak z bit about Genome sequencing technology and how they work/how to use, etc. Is it in your futur plans? Or not at all
Awesome videos! And many thanks! I know the focus of this video is over transamination, and have yet to watch the oxidative deamination video. However, isn't proline one of the exceptions to transamination, as well?
This lacture is too easy to understand and too difficult to forget thank u sir for providing such valuable lactures God bless u !sir and live long and keep helping students 👍👍👏👏👏
Thank you so much I have a question plase , l can't understand what do you mean by saying that AST is more sensitive for hepatic damage , and ALT is more specific for it??
Sensitive implies more sensitive to change or damage. So AST can be used sensitively for assessing liver damage, but it is also present in cardiac muscles, skeletal muscles etc. Hence it isn’t specific to the liver. On the other hand ALT is specific to liver cells hence any change in ALT very specifically means change in liver cells
Thank u for this knowledge," if we stop getting essential AAs,there will be a threat to production of non essential amino acids also",I want to know whether this statement is correct or not ?????
I have one question, you said that all aminoacids undergo transamination except for lysine and threonine, but can beta or gama aminoacids undergo transamination as well?
