I wish this was an affordable process. Id love to get my brain on track and start working instead of being disabled and seeming to get worse and worse. It is extremely fascinated to me. I used to be very sharp and energetic and a bunch of things happened over a ten year time span and one day i just lost everything. I keep a positive attitude and always research to find what i CAN do. Unfortunately I forget and get off track and it's just a crummy way to see myself compared to before all the trauma. Maybe I will find a way back. It just makes me feel so helpless to know this is out there but for me it is unattainable. Thats because it's all about money. Sorry, it just is. Things cost money. I have to find a way even I can make a bunch. This is just beautiful here It really is.
I have battled horrible mental illness/psychotic episodes for so so so long. I have been in and out of psychiatric centers, almost a dozen hospital stays for suicide. And I'm only 25. I have three children and lost custody. I have battled severe alcoholism and drug addiction....and through all this, the only thing psychiatrists have done, is make me a test monkey for psychiatric drugs. The list of psychiatric drugs I have been on, is horrifying. I have been begging God to get a scan and brain treatment. But.... I guess I am getting closer??? I need this POSTHASTE. ugh..

I really wish the disability benefits systems truly understood what brain injuries do to people in debilitating them. I had SPECT brain scans done before and after my first block of HBOT and they corresponded with the deficits I had and matched up to the reduction of symptoms and significant improvements in my neuronpsych testing. I had both focal and diffuse brain damage all across my brain from at least six different brain injuries events due to accidents. Even matched to the qEEGs I had had a few years prior with some of the damage as there had been more after from subsequent brain injuries. I’m still not getting disability benefits yet but I’m still dealing with neurofatigue and other effects and complications from the brain injuries. Still off work seven years after the fourth injury. But better than I was functioning wise prior to HBOT.

I had a MRI DTI from a neurologist that also does hyperbaric. How is it different from a Spec? I have really bad anxiety, the results came back that I have a brain injury.
@Ilir Cami my health has declined. Just diagnosed last week with stage 4 breast cancer. Im in my hyperbaric chamber as we speak. I will continue to fight
NOT affordable!!! as usual anything that would help massive amount of people is always financially out of reach!! I have always tried to service people where they are and it is a necessary to make real help affordable..$5300 is for the RICH!! not Us !! Shameful!
