Damn, amazing base. Glad you got rid of the size limit.

This looks absolutely fantastic, well done man. Just some info about the settlements too for those who don't know. With the base game without mods the max settlers per settlement cap is 10+ your charisma. Maxing your charisma stat to 10, plus the bobblehead, equipping any CHR gear (remember to get the charisma bonus from your power armour paint) and then using chems on top of that will get the settlement size limit I think to about 40ish. As for moving your settlers between settlements you first enter build mode, then walk up to one of them as you would if you were assigning them to something. There should be a "move" command shown when they are highlighted. Those of you trying to get happiness maxed for the achievement/trophy make sure your people have food and water (obviously), defences, furniture, paintings and powered lighting in their houses as well as access to stores. For me 16 stores, the makeup being 11 Surgery Centres and then one of each of the remaining level 3 stores was enough to hit 100% happiness. I also had to stay within the settlement until the happiness maxed out which took about 6 hours. Best way to do it is basically get your settlement setup how you want and then just leave the game running while you go to sleep and it should hopefully be full when you wake up. Getting settlers to set supply lines will let settlements to share resources. So basically get all your resources to one central settlement, Sanctuary is probably the easiest, and then get each of your settlements to have 1 provisioner connect to it. Again to establish supply lines you have to select a settler using the build window. There were times though when I couldn't send any more back to Sanctuary, however connecting to another settlement that is connected to your "resource bank" will still share it's resources. So if I sent a settler from Spectacle Island to the Castle and the Castle was already connected to Sanctuary where my resources were stored I'd still be able to use them. Lastly the defence number you need is determined by your food and water added together, ie; Food=30 & Water=60 the defences would have to be 90. Although most people I've seen playing the game tend to add more just to be on the safe side.

Ok that settles it. In case of a nuclear fallout, a zombie apocalypse or any manner of apocalypse the first thing I'll do is drive south to Louisiana and find Surrealbeliefs. Survival guaranteed. But seriously though, someone should link this guy's vids to Fallout's or Bethesda's page/website.

Surreal go into the workshop menu when in a settlement with settlers and hit r when they are highlighted you will be able to move them just fast travel once after hitting move and they will teleport to the settlement you selected.

**Builds up city, so that those 20 (max) settlers walking down there at ground level totally clueless can really call it home...** Welp, time to mod the game for 100 settlers lol.

I'm ashamed to admit that I'm having trouble grasping the finer points of stronghold construction. I just put a bristling array of turrets around that toolbox I found in the shack. Hahaha. Your base looks incredible man. Seriously. You have inspired me.

Add a Vault, a fight club and an apartment building with a closed off slum for a basement...plus a swimming pool or football/soccer/lacrosse field would be nice.

You sure did work on this settlement, I salute you. I'm definetly try something like this. You know I have done something a little bit like this but not as big as this. And if you do want to it was red rocket truck stop. How well I just made a home for myself and a farm of five mutfruit trees. And I will say this again, what I have is nothing compared to yours. Good job

if you take the local leader perk, you can order a settler from one settlement to move to another settlement :) I love your tutorials (especially the electricity one!

mods of PC versions have made settlement building so much better... espically the one that allows you to pretty much stretch power lines much much further... personally i spent like 100+ hrs building literally every settlement into something massive butt the Island i have yet to build on... i have like 6 settlers and literally nothing build but the radio tower... xb butt after seeing this vid i know what i must do xD you built an amazing and im getting some inspiration from it... imma try and one up you... >;D

Looks amazing! You can also move people to any settlement in the build mode by hitting R (on PC of course) to move them to any settlement.

I like the idea of a large field rather than a conventional farm, may have to steal that idea for my spectacle island build :)

your computer must be a war veteran withstanding all of that.

If you are talking about companions, you can send them there by asking them to join you and then leave you. When you tell them to leave just select Spectacle Island

You can go into the workshop at a their settlements, and move you ur cursor over a settler. It should give an option for 'move'- if you select that, it'll give a list of settlements that you can send them to. Don't worry about how they get there, they will show up automatically.

Damn this base is awesome it would be nice to have more than just 20 people in a place like this. I have 12 settlers right now at Spectacle Island and the only thing I've crafted are a couple of prefabs thrown around the island lol

Great settlement, man! I'm always scrounging for ideas on my builds. Currently I'm rebuilding the wall at The Castle, but not sure where I'm gunna go from there. Your hard work definitely paid off! I like your idea of putting all your generators in one place--they definitely get annoying after a while. I think I'll incorporate that idea whenever I get around to polishing off my settlements. Did you have to mod at all in order to bypass the settlement build cap? I was so disappointed when I couldn't build more at Sanctuary. At that site, I have a 3-story tree house, power armor work shop, and many defenses so that took a lot of "space," I suppose. But, it would have been nice to encircle the whole place with some steel walls. Anyway, good stuff and again, GREAT build!

You can move setterlers from settlement to settlement by going in to work shop mode and hovering over them and pressing square (for ps4) then you can get more in spectical island

Also also , you can move most settlers from wherever you want to wherever you want by simply going into workshop mode , targeting them , and pressing square on ps4 , b i think on xbone and whatever on pc ... it says move at the bottom of the screen when you target them

You can send other settlers from various settlements to spectacle island, the will just appear there.

I just got Spectacle Island and I have probably spent 15 hours building shit and then starting over because it is so damn but all that time has shown me some really cool new designs and tricks and ways of building and lighting areas. There really should have been a tutorial mode for settlements that just gives you an area and unlimited resources so you can work on building stuff. I would have preferred that over Fallout Shelter.

a way to move all your settlers to the island is to one by one make them your companion and call in a vertibird and transport them that way. that might work, might take a while but it might work

learned from another tuber that robot radiant quests you have to be aware of random encounters and get 3 is the highest num of settlers I've seen so far but who ever survives the robot attacks it's a pain anyone with head laser will kill fast. but can send survivors to any settlement

You should use some of the area and just cram it full of those small hut/houses so it's looks like a mini diamond city :)

Surrealbeliefs to move ur people in other settlements go into the workshop and look at the person u want to move press square or x (I don't know what it would be on pc) and select the location u want to move them to.

you can have infinite build space size by dumping objects on the floor then enter workshop mode and store each one it tricks the system into thinking each item dropped and stored is an existing item belonging to the settlement.

build the bell when you ring it your settlers come so you can assign them to things such as beds

I just built 3 huge towers on opposite ends of the island with sky bridges connecting them (when wasteland workshop came along I made a huge arena in the air and I just tossed the corpses off the side)

XBOX ONE: here this is how u can move them, at the towns turn into build mode and this is going to be the town that has the people but after in build mode u have to look at a settler/ person then press RB and move them to your island.
