Using the Spectra 11X as a Peanut Butter Machine
The Spectra 11X works great as a peanut butter machine allowing you to make healthy peanut butter. The Spectra stone grinder range can produce healthy, fresh peanut butter - retaining all the valuable essential enzymes and nutrients. As a peanut butter machine the Spectra's use a simple grinding process, requiring no need for prior roasting or additional oils up to a 26 Kg batch size.
Stone Ground Peanut Butter vs Commercial Peanut Butter
Making Stone ground peanut butter with a Spectra machine involves using in-built grinding stones which create minimal friction, allowing the temperature of the nuts to be maintained at low levels throughout, preserving the precious nutrients and flavours whilst achieving a silky smooth texture. There is no need to add salt, refined sugars, trans fats or preservatives.
You are free to create 100% natural, beautifully lightly roasted creamy peanut butter.
In contrast - general shop-bought peanut butter is processed using blades that chop up the peanuts, generating more heat which can alter the taste degrade the key vitamins and healthy oils and generally contain salt, sugar, hydrogenated oils (trans fat!) and preservatives to make it more shelf-stable, resulting in a lower nutritional quality product.
