"Es grauet" is a poetic kind of german language meaning something like: "it´s greyening". Normally you are refering to dusk or dawn with this wording, but it also has a second meaning to it: You are also speaking of "Grauen" as a special kind of fear, namely this kind of fear, that is not jumping at you like a tiger from behind a bush, but more so this fellling You have, when You vaguely guess You can sense something really terrible lurking somewhere around, but You don´t have any clue What it might be, how to brace Yourself for it or how to evade it. So you´re left with nothing but a certain chill prickling down Your spine, a good dose of helplessness and the knowledge, that You have to go through it even though You might not return healthy or even alive. I guess this double meaning might be intended.
This album hit really hard. Highly recommended. Also, just want to say really appreciate adding in all the clips throughout to demonstrate the points being made. Thank you!

I suppose Frigid is his least favorite because of that Sargeist/CF ripoff riff. This track tho was the one that made me pre-order the album so yeah...I like it anyway
The Black 'N Roll sections remind me of Craft at their best. That "swagger" really is what is sounds like - it makes you want to bang you head and tap your foot.
Of the two Spectral bands that I know of that released something this year, this was definitely the better of the two. It's really great! Also, funny review, as usual :)

Ετερόφωτος Blayne is a greek word meaning "the one that his light comes from others" and is in greek since Spectral Lore is a greek black metal band. It's sounds greek to you, well, because it is! 🤣🤘
Very solid solid 7/10 for me, doesn't do anything particularly different from Infernal Decadence besides the production. I'm still waiting on a 2021 release to get super excited about, hoping new Cerebral Rot or Hooded Menace can do that. Major props to Blayne for the "Soiboi" shirt in his webstore
