Fantastic information!! First I’ve heard about your personal bridge distance should be the distance from the tip of your elbow to the middle of your wrist, this makes total sense! I will definitely include this with my lessons moving forward! Love it!
My only concern with moving your bridge length, is that it will mess with players that use back-hand english as being short or long of the cues natural pivot point will not allow for the right amount of deflection.
Anthony, thank you for your help. Question. Sometimes I need to hit a shot slowly. Slow role it for position. Would I shorten my bridge length? or slow down my stroke? or both?
So question I'm assuming this works for guys who pull the cue all the way back to there Bridge hand . I tend to very my stroke length to the speed of the shot I need . Sometimes I'm very consistent and other times not . Any advice on how to work on my speed control. Thanks sir.
You really need to become acquainted with my full speed control system. It's available in my online class. Love to give you free consultation and tell you how the class works. Give me a call 606-669-8401. Love to have you as a student. And thanks again for all the comments and for watching all my videos I really appreciate it.
Oddly- with these lessons- they seem to worm immediately and then stop working. I suspect I am not being diligent once I have a little success with a lesson and get “sloppy”.
Here's what I find helpful about speed control. Can you learn how to lag while 5' 10' 20' even around the corners? Now estimate the distance and modulate your stroke to Shoot the shot . Should a straight shot and wanna go five feet past it? Would it help to measure the distance to the pocket and add the distance to roll the cue ball forward after contact?
