So many good ideas, I wish you included pics or videos (esp) when you talk about moving the Mom and Dad out, but keeping the kids in. Perhaps a Behind the scene video to watch you do this.
I’ve watched a fair number of your videos, and you have a lot of used advice. We appreciate you taking the time to make these. The only constructive criticism I would encourage you with, is to understand that there are audio people (you) and there are visual and kinesthetic people. For most men, we’re v/k learners and not audio. Having some cut scenes/b roll showing what you’re talking about would improve the value of your videos for those not specifically audio learners.
I have to agree -I think this is the point of videos otherwise this could simply be an audio guide. It seems a shame to not make the most of the opportunity. Narrating what you are doing visualises what to do and its so much easier to remember. Otherwise its a bit like someone trying to explain dance moves verbally.
Hey Rebecca! Can you talk more about your approach to getting family session detail shots? Do you have any specific detail shots you always attempt to get? I've been trying to increase the variety in my galleries!
Hey Rebecca, I love your videos. Thanks so much for making them! I just wish the free posing class was uploaded as a RU-vid video! The link won’t let me fast forward or rewind unfortunately
Any advice for “managing” clients who try and takeover the session- i.e clients who have a lot of ideas for the images. Especially when in a larger group.
