@DanManTN Not suprising, SQ makes one hell of a washer. Interesting how much the agitator fins look like a Whirlpool Super Surgilator. This was in pre 1986 belt drive machines, most direct drives use dual action.
@DanManTN The one i grew up with did not have a softener dispenser. But WOW talk about some powerful agitation. Back when Whirlpool built the best washers.
@dualactionsurgilator Yep, we were fortunate to have one of the last "Super Surgilators" back in the mid 80s...I thought it was so cool because it had the HUGE fabric softener dispenser "hat". Now, THAT was an agitator. :)
@dualactionsurgilator I always thought the "extended flip up" are on the edge of the super surgilator agitator was wicked. I wish I still had the brochure that explained it's function.
@DanManTN If the machine you are talking about Had a Double Duty Surgilator ( and 18# capacity (Like mr.oddhobbies 1982 machine) these flip ups on the base of the agitator were to propel the clothes upward to increase turnover.
