Thank you for the video.. Simple & straight.. Actually the bike does 100kmph@6400rpm which is near where the bike produces it's peak torque (6500 rpm).. A perfect cruising speed in general for this bike - about 100 to 102kmph.. The bike does 140-141kmph@9000rpm in its redline in 5th gear & 151kmph@9700rpm rev limiter in 5th gear.. It is not advisable to ride bikes in red line, so 141kmph top speed with about 5.5% speedo error results in 133kmph genuine safe top speed which is perfect for a 250cc machine..
Super video brother. Most of them not giving important to this details And not showing it. But it's mandatory information to know about cruzing capabilities of bike. I searched many but you only posted this content 💯 Thanks.
@@AmitKumar-mk1zo cruising speed in not the whole point, Road presence, highway capabilities, engine cooling, heavy weight makes it different You can't compare a 125 cc with a 250 cc
FZ25 = 5th Gear - @5000rpm 77kmph @6500rpm 100kmph GIXXER 250 = 6th Gear - @5000rpm 77kmph @6500rpm 100kmph PULSAR F/N250 = 5th Gear - @5000rpm 77kmph @6500rpm 100kmph FZ25 & F/N250 have only 5 gear debate by people. It doesn't matter how many gear bike have, all power and torque are divided in all gears.
Exactly Gear ratio matters and not the number of gears Actually F250 requires less gear shift both up and down in real world riding condition Makes it less effort in long rides
Excellent video my friend, very thoughtful and very useful. I know I'm commenting after one year, but here's my dilemma. I'm used to the smoothness of my Honda unicorn 160 and it does 70kmph at exactly 5000rpm. My particular bike is not very smooth, picks a buzz at 4500 till 5500, after that it drops a bit. Can do 80kmph at about 5800 or so and does a100 around 7000rpm, but after that it takes a while to hit 110 at 8000 and the engine has nothing more to offer. But I can hang around 70 to 80 without much vibes. Now, with a 250cc, I see you recommending not more than similar speeds, is it mainly due to the vibrations? My logic says a 250 should cruise at a 100 as subtly as a 160 does 80. Otherwise I see no reason to upgrade. No offence. In that regard, is the Gixxer 250 worth the extra money, for its 6th gear and a smoother engine? I have not test driven either but even so they let you ride just a couple km at max and we can't tell cruising smoothness from that ride. Your inputs would be greatly appreciated.
If you want to cruise at 100 ...better go for dominar that engine gets buttery smooth after 4000 rpm till 7500 rpm Pulsar 250 engine is meant to be better in low end rpms so it feels good till 5000-5500 rpm
Hello when u purchased this bike have u feel that engine becoming too much hot that hotness feels on foots before first service. In my case engine becomes too much hot please help
No bhai, did not get much heating issues Please ask them to update ecu if not updated yet Ride between 40kmph to 75kmph till first service on open roads Avoid going to city traffic
Ok hotness level is upto that level that no one would like to touch the engine out of 10 i will give 8 of heating i repeat it feels on foot In ur case ? I mean feels on foot now iam little bit worried
I feel best Cruising speed is 75-80 on both motorcycle They both reach 75kmph at 5500rpm even tho F250 has only 5 gears Comfort on F250 is so much better than Gixxer But when it comes to handling and cornering Gixxer is slightly better due to stiff suspension If you want dual abs then gixxer 250.or fz25 If all you want is all rounder machine and single abs is fine for you then just go for F250 blindly
@@thisisganesh exactly bhai , but I don't feel comfortable on the tyres grip . Don't know if that's psychological in my mind or if it's really the tyre's grip. One more thing,do you use recommended tyre pressure told by the company?
